Any Colorado School of Mines:

They do have a an active twitter account. They started layingbricks in the new stadium, so apparently it really is a Brick Stitt House.

FWIW the School also garnered 47 million in donations this year....... Not bad for a school of 5600 Oh and thats not counting 54 million in research grants (half from private sources) or their 270 million endowment.

I'd say their alums are involved.

That's crazy! With that kind of investment, you'd almost think Stitt isn't our guy. And with no fan interaction over here from a single one of them? It's very odd.

Or maybe a D2 program goes largely unnoticed because it's miles away from downtown where the Broncos play, or a few miles from Boulder where the Buffs play, or a few miles from where Colorado State is, or where Air Force is.. three D1 schools within 2 hours, and one NFL team.. the priority isn't D2. Plus, you know, the whole small school thing, not a ton of alumni to spread around, much less ones that care to interact with people like NLGrizFan.

There home attendance is pretty much equal to Northern Colorado...

Ummm...no UNC had over 4,000 in average attendance. Pathetic, I know...but about 4x what Mines has.

Actually if you use 2013 numbers when Mines was playing on campus:

Mines 3120 (6 home games)
UNC 3823 (6 home games)

After watching that video, I would be happy to see Stitt as our Head Coach.
I agree. I really like his enthusiasm, sounds like his players like him and want to see him succeed. If he is our man, I am very excited about the future of Griz football.

That's 2013. Not 2014. Also, when UNC was D2 and we were winning titles, we typically got 7-8K. There's a niche for D2,

Thats because the UNC stadium is the only large gathering place in Greeley upwind from "the smell of money"

Not that it matters, but they played quite a distance from home this year as the new stadium was being built. Sorta like UMs basketball attendance at Sentinel......

The field CSM used in 2014 is about 5 miles from campus. Five or six stop lights.

Greeley does not have any feedlots, if that's what you're referring too. Livestock is illegal to keep inside city limits.

I had been waiting patiently for a CSM's grad/student/player to jump out. But I haven't seen a single one. I'm almost willing to go hunt one down  Seriously though, still waiting for one to pipe up. There is probably a few laughing all this. But on the other hand... You'd think if Stitt was our guy, there would be someone here saying something about him. Is there no pride there?

They're' a bunch of petroleum engineers...they're probably all working 18 hour days right now.

They may be busy studying, or have a job. It may also be that they have markedly different priorities than football.

What? Hiring a Griz head coach is clearly the top priority in the world right now. What is wrong with these people?

It doesn't always obtain to an answer to ask what's wrong with any one. For most, if not all, are striving to provide their own solutions, to anything and everything. As such, most times they see themselves as a victim, so they have to go around victimizing. Unless, by some miracle, they happenstantially become civilized.

(Could be what) BAU (already has heard about).
