Any chance we can beat Gonzaga this year? PLEASE

The Zags beat Wazzu by almost 40. But judging one team by how they do against another really doesn't mean anything because all teams match up differently. A plus for us is that we should have Chris McKay back (he dressed against Jackson St. but didn't play) which will give us 2 big guys to go against Turiaf and Fox. Regardless its going to be a tough game but if we play well (win or lose) it should be good preparation for EWU 4 days later.

Gonzaga pounded EDUB yesterday by 21 in a boring game. EDUB looked really bad. I expected more from the team that is just about the same as last years.
EDUB should play better on Reese Court. But do look forward to hearing "just like football" from the Griz fans as the clock winds down.

The Zags are going to be without one possibly two key players on Sunday. Two players got hurt against Eastern last night. One of their starting forwards (Skinner) broke his hand and will be out until February and Fox (their back-up center) has a knee injury and if he plays it will be limited minutes.

The game will be on Omega at 6pm Sunday. Channel 70 in Billings and 38 in Bozoland.

The Zags will win by at least 15. The injury to Tony Skinner will allow Errol Knight and Adam Morrison to get more minutes. Morrison is a pretty darn good player for a freshman. I have heard that his father was a former coach or player or Dawson CC. Don't quote me on that.
Richard Fox has a knee that locks up on him. He's a solid player who can rebound and bang with the best.
Zags by at least 15.

Adam Morrison's father is from Scobey. His father's twin brother coached at Billings Senior with Pat O'Connor. Zags by 15+.

Fox is definately not playing tomorrow. He had arthroscopic knee surgery on Friday and is out indefinately. Few hasn't said whether Knight or Morrison will start but my guess is Morrison after the performance he had on Wed against EWU.

I agree the griz will probably lose by 20+, even though I would love to see the upset.BUT remember stanford last year and I was in attendance last month when nevada shocked Kansas. Kansas was flat and nevada had one player on fire that is pretty much all it took. Pretty sad night for me got to see my second favorite team play one of my most hated and the damn pack beat em. :(

The Griz were fortunate that the Zags had an "off" night. USF wasn't so lucky.
