Does anyone know if there are any busses you can take from a hotel in downtown Spokane to the Griz/EWA game and back to Spokane downtown next weekend?

Don't know that but I am looking for couple people that would like to go to the game then run down to Lewiston , ID and salmon steelhead fish on sun. Taking jet boat up snake to mouth of salmon river limit is 3 steelhead 6 salmon this is my 4th year on this trip

Is there a special lot for Griz tailgating?

They like to put as much distance between us and EWU fans so be prepared for a long walk and don't expect to get to the Griz tailgate area at halftime. They will also have the riot patrol.....oops I mean crowd management services on site to keep us rowdy, unrefined folks from the Wild Wild West in line. :thumb:

Now that sounds fun. Do you usually limit?

Since Missoula is east of Cheny then wouldn't it have to be the "Wild Wild East"?

Since it is a night game, does that mean you are screwed for a return trip?

Technically speaking, Missoula is east of "Cheney". My reference was purely based on Montana being part of the wild and often lawless westward expansion of the US. A state well known for it's history of vigilantes, bandits, miners/loggers/cowboys who loved to drink and fight, Custer's last stand and ladies of ill repute. Have you ever seen any old westerns (or should they be called easterns) portrayed to have taken place in Cheney, Spokane or Seattle??? ;)

Look at you Mr.Bud being all smart and thinking ahead about the return trip. Savvy. I once attended a metalica concert in the bay area. We rode the BART there from the other side of the bay but did not realize the BART would be closed by the time the concert got out. What a crazy night trying to get home. We ended up catching a bus to the airport and slept in the BART station there until it opened at 6 am.

STA would be the only busses running between Spokane and Cheney but I don't know how late they run on the weekends, I never take public transportation! I'd rather walk..

Someone will be there for a ride back to Spokane. If nothing else one of the fine Griz fans staying at the Casino could take you back there and you could get a cab from there I am sure. Not sure if that's cost effective, but it lets you get your drink.
