Hope this guy stays healthy and has a great year to finish his career.
All the pedigree in the world.

IMO, he knows how to deal with pain. As long as it is not a major injury I feel he will play with pain to stay on the field in a sport he loves.Damn this guy's had it rough.. been in college for 7 years and has been injured every single year. That sucks, big time. Hopefully the injury curse breaks![]()
To be clear, he won the high school Butkus award and not the college one. That would be incredible if we got a transfer that won the college award. I figured he’d be at DE but maybe he’ll be a linebacker on the edge instead?
Did you literally just say “only a 4 star LB” in a negative way. Tell me you know absolutely nothing about 4 star recruits without telling me you know absolutely nothing about 4 star recruits. Please name how many 4 star FB recruits the Griz have landed since inception. I’m guessing you’ll use one hand. Yes, he’s been injury riddled through career. That may hamper him here too. But my entire point is you can’t say “only a 4 star” when talking this level of football. Wow.Not to be this guy but not sure he’s ever really played for anyone to say it’s a big pick up. I was having trouble finding any highlights of him over the 7 years of playing. He was only a 4 star as a linebacker before switching positions. He’s been injured a lot. I don’t think he’s ever finished a year. However, he is a mature guy with already 7 years of college experience. Probably worth a flyer but not sure I can say this is an impact transfer yet.
Not to be a jerk, but aren't you kind of answering your own question? What history do we have in regards to previously injured four stars? Can you answer that one?Did you literally just say “only a 4 star LB” in a negative way. My wife would disagree as she is an alumni of Oregon State U. (Beavers). Since the '60s OSU was one of the bottom dwellers in the PAC until recently. The Trojans always dominated this game.I always liked the Trojan/Beaver game.
Looks like this guy will be a great addition, if he can stay healthy.

Simmer down. I thought he was coming in as a DE as that’s what he’s been playing at USC. He wasn’t a 4 star DE out of high school. He’s also like 7 years removed from that rating potential. We know what he has done at USC. That’s all that was meant.Did you literally just say “only a 4 star LB” in a negative way. We never know. Who would have thought Riley would have been the player he became after being basically a special teams guy at Hawaii? It would be cool if he could stay healthy , and they had him become the new "Riley Wilson" style linebacker?
