He's a popular selection but not a guy that a lot of Rider fans know a whole lot about. We had a guy leave for the Browns (a nothing job) who had been given total control. GM/Head Coach/Director of Player Personnel/Defensive coordinator and I think he ran the concessions at Mosaic as well. We ended up going with a guy named Jeremy O'Day who had been an interim GM in the past. He had to find a HC. Usually it's the O or D co-ordinators who move up but our O guy struggled and the D guy had left. I think most people see this as a very positive move, but not one that was an obvious move. He's got instant cred just by being Dave's brother, who has huge respect up here as he does everywhere he goes.
I will be in the stands every now and then standing out in the Sea of Green with my maroon and silver, if any of you ever road trip up for a game I'll get you sorted out for pre-game libations.
