Ahhhhh.......well it only took 1.5 pages to have to draw out Havre's very own Frank Deford (without the talent) packing a good dose of butthurt and selective memory. I don't doubt we wanted him.....just not very bad (obviously) or we would have got him. The Cats will still get 4 out the top 6 recruits in Montana in '17 so I'd save the "we didn't want him" schtick for another day (Feb 1,'17) The grizz would trade all the '16 Mt recruits for Balue, Benson, Chapman>>>>> the three top rated boys that didn't go out-of-state.....like you " I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT....hee. hee!!! :mrgreen:

Yup. Also after QB/Safety Tanner Wilson. One of the hardest hitters in the state. Rensvold is a good ball player.

If he's a better fit on offense, why try to force him into another position that he isn't as well suited for? We've already pulled two players from MT on defense...I'm sure there are more coming.

So has Balue and Chapman been split into two now? I think you were referring to Balue Chapman and Chase Benson...but I get it. 4th of July can bring out the best (drinking beer/lighting fireworks) and worst (writing on message boards while inebriated).

Matt could make a good linebacker or defensive end but if you watch his tape, he's an outstanding athlete and ball-catcher and an absolute perfect fit for the H in Stitt's offense. He grades out the best at WR/TE. Watch the tape:

Maybe we should start letting the cats add however many montana recruits they get to the final score of the game......if we started doing that the average margin of Griz victories would probably be closer to 17-20 points only.

What's more funny is Teton doesn't even know his own team. Balue Chapman is one person and the other is Chase Benson. That's two kids not three. The Griz did just fine with the #1 recruit in the state in Jed Nagler and taking Bradshaw right out of Bozeman. Cole Rosling was a top recruit as well who the Cats wanted. So were Jace Lewis and Letextier. Teton shouldn't drink so much.

The Griz did just fine with the #1 recruit in the state in Jed Nagler.

Andrew Grinde was the #1 recruit in the state by popular opinion (coaches, players, etc.) last year. Just wanted to throw that out there. However, you could argue for Jed, Chase Benson, and Balue Chapman. Also, I thought very highly of Payton O'Reilly.

Thanks VIM, and you are one hundred percent correct, the state of Montana didn't get the top-rated high school football player in 2015, which was Andrew Grinde. Teton's Balue and Chapman thing did slay me though lol.
