EWU is working on the facilities, we will get there soon enough. I have to disagree with you though about UM and NDSU having the only worthy game day atmospheres. I have been to a couple games in Bozeman and they put on a hell of a show.

Bozeman puts on a show like a donkey show in TJ. It's kind of amazing so many people show up, sewage is involved, tons of illegal jerking off, and nobody brags about it when Monday rolls around.

 We have just witnessed the perfect post. As soon as I hit send I'm throwing my computer in the garbage can! That was beautiful, CDA!

Looks to me like that West kid backing up Adams is just as good. There were some nice plays in this game by both sides. Good football. I just think EWU wore down SHS by end of game. Hope the Griz have enough depth to avoid that.

More the amazing is Colin Cowherd is an Eastern Alum....

I was told that he got his certificate in soldering there.

I'm pretty sure he didn't even graduate. He "attended" ewu which by strict definition makes him an alum, but he dropped out. I could be wrong on this, but I doubt it.

Correct. He dropped out. But you don't get the whole EWU experience unless you drop out after not graduating in four years, so he still has his meth cred.

Martin Stadium is full of EWU alums on game day. They'll talk about how much they love the Eagles, but they recognize the Cougs as the one true football team of Eastern Washington and they wouldn't think about missing a PAC12 beat down for an afternoon in Cheney.
In that sense Colin Cowherd is a very, very typical EWU alum. He's got the keys to the city, but the door is unlocked. No one ever breaks in.

I think he was referring to the home field advantage aspect more so than the atmosphere. Although MSU may have a good game day atmosphere they have not benefited from much home field advantage in the playoffs other than maybe back in 84.

Is EWU planning on expanding so they can reach capacity over 11,000? Will they be able to sell out regularly if they add more seats?

For those who were at the game, one would notice for what in Washington was a small miracle... The state liquor board allowed several blocks to be blocked off for tailgating. The fan base is very much growing as is the resident university. They will fill all of the much more than 11,000 seats they will have when the project is done.
