On egriz. I do that everyday. Sometimes your ass. I’m good at it. I first met Schmidt when he was in high school. Thought he’d show more respect. Tells me something scout the type of person he is. Now I can comment on him too.
Colter, like many of us, I don’t live in Montana, so I don’t have regular access to your radio program, nor do I have 30 hours a week to consume them via podcast.
That said, whenever I am fortunate enough to come across your work, it always comes across as rather condescending towards the GRIZ and their fan base. Perhaps it’s me; perhaps it’s your style; Whatever, that’s the impression left with me.
Even this post above. Yes, it’s complimentary to the GRIZ (as it should be after they had the most dominant showing of the week). But it’s clear from reading it that you felt the GRIZ win was completely unexpected. Otherwise, why would this be one of BH’s great wins? I mean, this was a round of 16 game. He’s won how many semis?
I respect you and Schmidt, but as many have pointed out on here, the sky is farrrrr from falling.

You are the little immature kid. Actually, I get a good deal of info. Some directly but more indirectly. One of my relatives is one of Bobby’s best friends and a big annual donor to football. They talk and communicate multiples times per week. I also get great info from parents who are good friends of mine. I don’t post 95% of the good inside info I get. I knew Loud was playing. I knew the defenses being used. Insiders are comfortable talking to me because they know I am completely discrete with info. It helps shape my approach and overall view, but I don’t divulge specifics. Some of my good and trusted friends get some of the species.
You seem to like to spout off about things you know little or nothing about. I don’t. This is a huge blind spot for you. You don’t know how to evaluate OL play and it looks like you don’t get good info. Yesterday, as I said, I sat next to Chuck Burton. He had various mostly positive things to say. I was also with 3 other former Griz who sit near me.
Maybe your friends, or some, lie to your face. Mine don’t know. And I know who my friends are. This may yet be another difference between us.

It was a great win not because it was unexpected but because it was much needed. A tough loss to the Cats at home had the community hoping an abrupt ending to an awesome season was not looming. And the Griz left no doubt.
It was a huge win because SDSU has made it to the final 4 every year since 2017 and is the only team to win it all in the last 15 years other than JMU and NDSU.
It’s a huge win because that team is good at full strength and were No. 2 in the country before the injury plague.
That’s a huge win because Chase Mason is a professional level athlete.
It’s a huge win because the Griz showed national championship level form in their only loss of the season and then retained and even improved on that level.
It’s a huge win because every season for about 12 years straight, no matter how good or not good the Griz or Cats are, it’s very clear they can’t win the national championship. The team I saw in Missoula yesterday and the QB who’s leading the way can win the national championship. That’s why it’s a huge win.

I agree with your comment about the show(s) being condescending, or maybe for me it’s more being unduly negative instead of condescending.
Some of these guys are born “journalists”. Their instinct is to be critical, often too critical and sometimes when they wrong in their criticism. Colter has some of that, along with many good traits and skills and he’s a nice guy. Sample has it too, and I have been around him a lot. Schmidt seems to be off the charts, extreme, and almost intentionally wrong at times. It’s clear that he isn’t used to people like Taber coming at him. There’s another guy on one of podcasts who doesn’t seem to understand much about football.

The issue is not whether you will be at the presser when someone else asks about it, or more accurately on zoom when someone else asks veeguns about the topic, or even if you ask, “what was that about?”
The real issue is whether you will ask some tough questions and follow up questions to veegus, like was it acceptable? How will he be disciplined? Why is he still on the roster? Is it common for players to get physical with coaches? What kind of message does this send to the team? To the community? If he were not a star player, would he be disciplined or disciplined differently? Does that promote a win at all costs attitude? What do you think your future employers think about this situation and how you are handling it?
You actually would kick his ass physically, too. It'd be epic. Hell, at this point, we should do it, and make it a qb club fundraiser, if hes even a qb club member. You'd wear him down, beat him up. Then we could do a cage match against him and Schafer, since he likes to dog on our trenches so much! His soul would be completely removed.
Yes. But I'm finding it entertaining. And still can't believe how silly the game yesterday made all of them look who were so neggie. Its funny.
Colter does a great job, I love him as a friend, and we're going to dominate mcc member guest this summer, we're due.

Luckily for me, im not in it for the entertainment value for others in this deal. I'm gettung a kick out of it, though. But I can only dip in and out, as I'm coaching my kids hoops all weekend and traveling, and very busy in general.

Hoops isn’t close to Mike Tyson and Schmidt was an actual athlete unlike Jake Paul and we already saw how that one went.
