Also, schmidts teams had the luxury of only transfer opportunities for FBS players was transferring down, so if you look at Schmidt's o line, he had an Oklahoma transfer, and Arizona st transfer, an oregon transfer, and Montana dudes that barely exist now a days. Do we get these types of dudes anymore?? Not a chance. Nobody at our level is getti g these types of transfers.

Haven’t all college football teams undergone these same changes? How have these changes negatively affected Montana as compared to the rest of the FCS?

We were also 3 plays away from being 7-4. North Dakota, Eastern, and Idaho state all easily could have gone the other way.

But, credit to the team and the coaches, we won some close games this season. But not against our rivals, let’s hope we get a chance to redeem ourselves.

When the screenshot of this gets to you, let me know what happened when your beloved 2007 team got best in the first round of the playoffs. Lot of talent on that team. How about 06? 05? In 2004 you had a stacked group of seniors and a hell of a qb, great season but tough ending.

As a fan and booster, ill support the players all day long. Publicly dogging players during an 11-0 season, and being wrong about it, is being a good fan? How moronic is that. Ive stated where I think we need improvement, I'm not confused. But your confusion is evident by believing somehow that mid season, talking shit about a position group that actually proven good, is somehow making a positive difference? Again, GTFO with that idiocy. Absolutely dumb. But the shoe fits.

I was referring to the difference compared to schmidts teams and hos era, yet he still couldn't win the big one. Hes very arrogant towards the current team.

Yes and I’ve acknowledged that our lines haven’t been good enough. The last drive was painful cause I do believe if we had gotten the ball back we would have won. That said, there were still plenty of opportunities earlier on for us to go up two scores and put the game on ice and unfortunately the offense made too many mistakes. Do the lines need to improve? Absolutely they do, but even then it was still right there for the taking.

If you really said some of the stuff attributed to you, you were and are wrong. And some of your stuff on egriz today is completely wrong too. You are mostly a critic and opinionated, often with opinions that wrong.

You must have blind spots or have an inflated ego if you think some of the stuff you are saying will help the program. It won’t. And some of it will likely be counterproductive. No one with any influence in the program is going to listen. And your reputation precedes you, further hurting your credibility.

I look forward to being able to say what I want about some of your stuff, instead of holding back. I don’t listen to podcasts. Too slow and boring. My brain still moves faster. I tried to listen to the one mentioned in this thread or one after the game, but it was too boring. Too many guys who don’t know much talking about stuff and like they think they are funny. I don’t put you in the category of not knowing much. In fact, I commented positively yesterday on what I heard you say in the early minutes.

As I said long ago, I retired to have more time for egriz. I suppose I could say that I also don’t play golf anymore or play pickleball to have more time for egriz. I do travel a lot and go to big sporting events and am writing 3 “masterpieces”, but other than that and working out, lots of time to support Griz football and devote to egriz and taking on the critics and neggies.

One more thing. I find it funny that, a podcaster and more, calls out Taber
for spending time on egriz.

During the playoffs in 2001, Joe Glenn came over to me in the press box and introduced himself. Said he heard I was “Green26” and wanted to thank for supporting the team so much. After the championship game, I was sent a signed championship poster, signed by many coaches and some players, mostly addressing me as Grren26. That told me that programs notice and appreciate support including on the internet. Let us know if you get an unsolicited signed poster after the season.

I found it funny too that he made mention of my egriz posts. I can post some, and still run circles around him business wise. Not hard to multi-task. At any rate. Agree with this all completely. 👍👍

Ive only listened to a few of his with Colter. Most of them are tough to watch, so I dont. Schmidt is highly critical of our offensive line, and is negative in general towards the team more often than not. Hes bene highly critical of the defense at many points during the season, and says we havent beaten anyone of su stance, ignoring wins like North Dakota, Idaho, sac state etc. Just very pessimistic. And just like all negativity Nancy pansy asses, felt empowered when the griz lost the rivalry game.
 
To be fair, Schmidt burnt the house down on the Griz Fan Pod.

His interview with Skyline, he had a few critical things to say about the Montana strength & conditioning program and the current balance of the rivalry. But most of the 50-minute conversation was about this question: what are the reasons Montana CAN win the national championship? And what are the factors they need to mitigate to not hold them back?

Our pod this week was intentionally not nearly as emotional on Schmidt's part he was earlier in the week.
