Guys, thanks for all the love here. Like Griz fans, App fans cannot wait for kickoff this season. We're really looking forward to entertaining the Griz at KBS.

I was at the Dec. 2009 playoff game in Missoula. Great fans, great stadium, great football weather, & a great game (except for the outcome.)

I hope to see many Griz fans in Boone Sept. 7 & 8. I live about 40 minutes away from Boone, but we're driving up the mountain Friday night looking for Griz. I intend to return the many offers for beer I received in 2009. Just wear your colors. I hope it will be as hard for you to buy your own beer on Friday night in Boone, as it was for me in Missoula the Friday night before the game.

Good luck & safe travels. But you're going to get hammered on the field.

Classiest bunch of fans. With fans like this it makes it really easy to like them!

I already can't wait for our meeting. Go Griz & go ASU! Best of luck (on all days except when we meet), & I pray that there are no injuries!

Can't wait to travel to Appy! This is going to be fun. Great team, facilities and fans. These two teams are still the class of the FCS.

My Favorite other FCS team/fanbase, taking my 4 closest buddies. Really looking forward to it, if The Griz come out with a win even better! The ticket office called me 2 weeks ago and finally let me buy my tickets. Hoping for a decent Griz turnout like we saw at Tennessee.

I have heard this is going to be a sell-out & perhaps set attendance records. If that happens, we're talking 32k+; obviously SRO. Kidd Brewer Stadium seats 21,650. Not sure though, we have very few 6:30 kickoffs to compare this game to. The one I do recall was an evening game on Friday night, Oct.31, 2009 (that's right, it was Halloween) vs. Wofford. As I recall, game was on ESPN, App was ranked #3 in FCS & Wofford was #2. It was an old-fashioned, butt whoopin' ... App 70, Wofford 24. I have a feeling the game on Sept. 8 will be anticipated by App fans as much or more than that Halloween game.

Any idea how many Griz fans will be there? If you bought tickets through your ticket office, you'll have a seat. If you try to buy tickets at the game, you'll be standing.

Damn, I can't wait for this one! We owe Montana some payback bigtime. No, that's not what I meant LOL! We owe them some excellent hospitality-- the kind we were shown in Missoula three years ago. I have posted on this before, but it's the best we have ever been treated at a road game. Griz fans that day made me want to be a better, classier fan. I too will be actively looking for Griz fans. I will be with my 12-year-old son, so I may not be pulling along a cooler of beer. But I plan to say "hey, welcome to our little town, thanks for coming, and enjoy the game" as often as possible!
