And the UM lacrossers only have one MT home boy

Stopped by the River Bowl to watch last year's Class B Club lacrosse team take on the WSU boys from Pullman. And it was ugly.
The Griz, 30 out of 31 coming from out of state, totally outclassed the Cougs 27-0. These guys are good. Very fast and good stick handlers. I think the maybe 100 or so in attendance became sorry for the visitors. Tomorrow, Sunday 4/6 Idaho is in town. It's a very entertaining sport and has a lots of the characteristics of hockey.

Only makes sense since lacrosse is not a school-sponsored sport at any high school in Montana. Also, as a non-scholarship sport, they don't have to worry about giving more in-state schollies to save money.

Not to mention most who have ever played the sport are from out of state.
 
May 3 and 4 the Griz laxers will host the Pacific Northwest Club Lacrosse League playoffs with the four qualifiers now looking like Washington, Oregon, Simon Fraser ( player dad told me SF brings their rough house tactics from the rink to the field) - and if they beat Boise State in two weeks - the Griz. All games in WGS.
