Nope, no need to crow about the win, but it was certainly a blast watching that comeback in Albuquerque! Definitely have several things to clean up, and need to get some starters back. Fortunately, that was the toughest test the Cats will have until probably Idaho, if even them IMO. Ya - you guys are all about saying UNM is the worst team in the FBS but we'll see. I bet they'll surprise some people, and they will win some games. As for the Cats getting lucky, UNM throwing the game away, etc... blah blah blah. Tommy Mellott had a couple freak plays\mistakes, that he just does not make - and he gave them fourteen points. He mentioned something about not being able to hold onto the ball due to wet hands. Seems strange, but I'll never question his intelligence. If you think he's going to turn the ball over multiple times like that in all the games, feel free to think what you want. I never did check the final stats but I'm guessing the Cats have close to 400 yards rushing, once again, and this was against an FBS team. They did that with three starting O Linemen out, two tackles making their first starts, starting RB and 3rd string RB out, no Sean Chambers, and very few designed running plays for Tommy. Do you think the Cats will have the best rushing attack in the country, again? Tommy also made some great throws, just needs to get more consistent. I think he will.
