An All FBS secondary

So with the addition of Reynard (sp?) the young man from the U of Wisconsin, we have the potential to start four players in the secondary who were all FBS players. Markell at one corner, Reynard at the other, Yamen Sanders and Strong at the safety positions. We lose these kids in the recruiting wars to the "big" programs but they find their way home. GO GRIZ

PS: Love JR Nelson, hope he is on the field and starting every day, just threw this out there as a hypothetical and very obvious observation.
 
I get where your going with this but I'd say it's a safe bet Reynard will be a backup this year. For one, I believe JR is FBS level talent but wasn't recruited much because of his size(just over 150 lbs his Sr year). 2nd, Reynard was recruited to the FBS but hasn't displayed the talent yet to see much time on the field, partly due to injuries, but also, he's not as good as the people younger then him, resulting in him transferring his Sr year to see the field.
 
Sandry is also going to be an animal, in my opinion, as well. I wouldn't completely sleep on him yet.

Agreed, but I just don't see him beating out Strong with his combo of talent and experience. At least this season. Good problem to have regardless. Think his time to shine will be 2017 after Sanders has graduated.
 
Like any position in college football, takes a village. Count on a number of guys maning positions all over the secondary this season. Everyone but CDA & Ursa. Sources tell me that neither has any eligibility remaining.

These transfers are to fill gaps and add depth. I don't think anyone believes we are going to "FBS transfer" our way to an NC.

I don't know for sure, but believe we are still trying to get the ship righted from our encounter with the NCAA.
