Perhaps the absolute inconsistency since 2009 might have something to do with team performance, therefore expectations, might have SOMETHING to do with this years predictions. Food for thought.

This is one game, so don't get too squirrelly yet. We came 2 seconds away from being 0-1. I learned many years ago a great lesson. It is that "nothing is ever as good as it seems, nor as bad as it seems".

Agreed. Enjoy the moment, prepare for tomorrow.

Alpha and Atlanta weren't the only ones. Most of the folks on this board though we would lose.

It's one thing to predict a loss. Probably quite a few people did think it would end up a loss.

It's entirely another thing though to spend the last year+ pushing the idea that the Griz had no chance, the cupboard is bare, NDSU is unbeatable, etc etc like Alpha and his little sidekick Stevie have been doing.

Stitt was the X factor. I thought he'd be good eventually but not this quickly. I, for one, was still in "Delaney Mode" when trying to analyze this match up. Stitt's quick passing attack minimized the Ol problems. His gambling style usually paid off. He seemed to always have the right play call in place. Brady missed a few but Stitt's plays were there. The Griz would have lost this game with Delaney at the helm....

Agreed. Incredible game but we have to remember this is one game. We have to prove it over the next few weeks against some tough opponents. I think we'll only improve with time and experience. Can't wait to watch this team get better all year long. WOW.
Go Griz!

I agree with you. It's only one game. But the execution in the passing game was very encouraging. Plus the Griz had a 100 yard rusher...
IMO, Stitt's offense will be about exploiting mis-matches as things progress. If BG can continue to make good quick decisions, this type of offensive performance SHOULD continue. We'll see....

Their isn't any question Stitt was exceptional today. But, the players executed exceptionally well...also. I had to watch on TV. I know the game could have swung either way...but we were just a couple of plays from blowing the game open. Brady missed a couple of throws that would have gone for TDs...As you re-watch the game, consider how much upside our offense has if they execute perfectly. Awesome game. Tremendous potential. We have got to get better at stopping the run.
