All You Need is Fire...Fire is All You Need

It’s quite simple, really. We just need fire. Would someone give us some fire, please? Christ, it’s easy. You can get lighters at Town Pump for $.99. Ninety-nine cents will turn this program around! You’d think George Dennison would consider that a good investment. George, listen to me, go down to Town Pump, get a lighter, and light a damn fire. It isn’t like fire was invested yesterday. It’s been around for, like, 300 years.

and everyone bring your stun guns and your cattle prods so the crowd will have some electricity. :tounge:

I'm frustrated that Tinks has not made an effort to get a lob dunk off of Dlouhy. Last night would have been perfect against a zone. One time Matt stood in the key with the entire defense shifted over and wove his hands for a pass. Once it was thrown, it was no good. Why not run the play at some time where the momentum might have helped LIGHT A FIRE!!!!!!!!!

He was wide open on another one and Matt Martin didn't see it, I think he was pretty closley gaurded, many fans saw it and let out a sigh of frustration.

Maybe we need Jud Heathcote to kick a bunch of chairs onto the court or rip his sportcoat in half while screaming at the team like he used to do. The threat of an old fat guy threatening to kick their ass seemed to do the job back in the day. :thumb:

So let me get this straight. A player was wide open and the point guard (ie. quarterback on the court) didn't get him the ball for the big play and many fans let out a "sighs of frustration". Don't people know that these kids hear such "sighs" and take them personally. You "bad fans/negative types" are hurting the team with your "sighs". "Sighing" for the griz is just like cheering for the oposition. This team is coming off a season to remember. Some of you "sighers" need to get a life and lower your expectaions. It's not realistic for the Griz to march through the regular season, dominate in the post season and compete for the national title every year. And your criticism of the coaching staff is just not right. The coaches can't make the passes, catch the passes or hit the open shots. This offensive system has been used around the country by other schools and it has been proven to work....it just takes time to learn.

true griz fans wanted....sighers need not apply

Tougue in Cheek? It has gotten bad enough I can not tell if the Griz fin is serious while positng a few post backs. that was either humorous or very funny

I no sigh guy, but would have preferred seeing a little more activity on the floor during loose ball situations.
