All practices are closed to public

I was asked to leave today while watching practice in Wagriz. The guy was cordial. He said that all practices are now closed, and the coaches did not like people recording and posting the practices on the internet. In addition, he said someone actually went through the trouble to fix a video recorder on an extension pole and recorded practice from outside the stadium. If that's true, the cats are more desperate than I thought. :lol:

I know this was discussed earlier on a different forum, but it obviously has come to a head with the coaches.

This may not be a popular decision with the all of Griz nation but it probably should have done during fall camp. This is a better decision in the long run.

haha - I never catch regular practices in the fall anyways and those are almost always closed anyways. If fall camp or as Delaney calls it "pre-fall" is closed next year... so be it. I'd be bummed but I'd get over it.

I cant imagine them closing "pre-fall"......there is no real point with scrimmages and overall excitement. I always knew the coaches occasionally closed a practice here and there, mainly for big games, but not permanently closing practices.

I don't think its Bwahlberg or AG1 doing write-ups or recording snippets of practice that ruined it. Maybe it gained a fraction of attention, but it was the tool-bag that was sneaking a camera over the fence is what did it......that's just plain odd and sketchy, and it would be nice to punch the F#cker in the neck.

USC just pulled he credentials of a reporter who reported, as the backup kicker took the field, that the starting kicker had been injured during a practice that week. Akey closed practice for the Vandals the week leading up to the EWU game so nobody knew that the projected starter would be sitting out the first game.

Steve Sarkisian just did the same thing today at UW. Somehow I don't think it has anything to do with "Viking fear".
