All but one conference profitable after CFP playoff

Good to see you are all buddies with Northwest. He neglected to answer my question about the Griz-state college record in football, but that's ok. :thumb:

You're not going to get an answer from him man.

Not unless you follow the trail of tears (good way to find cat fans) to the wood shed he got taken behind by garizzalies. If you do follow that trail look for the quivering puddle of mush that's muttering "1984...it really happened" over and over again while rocking back and forth.

Even then it's likely to be gibberish.

UND.......your source for this information?
UNDfan, aka SiouxVolley over on siouxsports.com, is his own source. He is the king of wild speculation, conspiracies, theories, and rhetorical questions.

However, I like his far fetched idea he proposes about the teams that could move up as a conference. Even though it pains me to admit it, I hope he is right. He can say "I told you so" as many times as he wants.

Potomac....well at least we can give him something in that their women's basketball team beat the Lady Griz this year. Maybe that will make him feel better.

...and now it's back to the dumpster fire known as egriz, where anonymous Griz bandwagon morons puffing out their chests rules the day.

Thanks for the attempt at a realistic discussion, mtgriz! Have fun with the mouthbreathers like Spanky, who I'm guessing never attended a single class at UM, based on the literacy and "intellect" he exhibits in his posts.

He has this board, though, which is nice.

How does it feel to be embarrassed by people you've deemed "mouthbreathers?"

I thought one of you had shot Northwestsour in the butt. Seems his butt explodes with noise and air.... so the thinking was it's all coming from sour's butt...Then silence.

Yes, "wutz da Catz recurd??" is high-brow stuff for most Griz fans here. I'm so embarrassed! I'm guessing that Spanky might have a high school degree. He has his Griz, though!

Sadly, this is one of the more intelligent post outside of mtgriz in this thread.

.......not everyone can have a degree from high school or college. It seems that Northwest is an educated snob.... :o

Nah, I just know a bandwagon fan who only cares about the football team when I see one. I'm guessing the majority of the MWC dreamers never stepped foot in a UM classroom and never donate a dime to academic causes.

.....football is it, Griz football that is. No interest in the so-called refined sports, like tennis....

My hunch is the exact opposite is likely true. The majority of alumni welcome the move; those who are just fans and not UM grads would be more likely to support the status quo.

So you need to go to a school to be a fan..? You weren't a fan of a team before you were 18?? Crazy!!

That part makes no sense to me either. In BCS football, I am a fan of Nebraska and WAZZU, I did not go to school at either place. So how is fandom determined for the professional ranks, being there is not a school to attend? I became a fan of the Huskers after experiencing my 1st year in Omaha. I loved how passionate their fans were for the Huskers. GRIZ and Husker fan bases are very similar.

As I said, fans care about the football team. Alumni care about the entire university. There's nothing wrong with that, but fans tend to view things from an athletic perspective, without any care about enrollment dropping, liberal arts majors becoming obsolete, etc. etc. So, in viewing a move up to the MWC (which I still find impossible), fans only consider how it would impact the football program, and not the entire university and its budget.

Exactly. I've been a Griz fan since I was 8 years old. I became an Alabama fan when I went down there but, I haven't paid attention to them since I left so I'm revoking my fan rights to them lol. But, I will always be a Griz fan. And I'm pretty sure being a fan has way more to do with where you live than anything else. That and having a sense of taste.

Not true. I am a fan of the University of Montana as a whole. So... you're just a dip shit. Move on.

That might be the way it works in Bozeman. Come to think of it, it probably is the way it works in Bozeman because it's so fucking stupid.

Northwest also has excellent knowledge about private schools such as Wake Forest and Duke. What a benefit for him to post on this board.
