So I can't find the back and forth about his injury, playing, not playing, out 6 weeks, re-injury, etc. Can someone help with what's up?

Travis said, after the Tech game, that he was held out as a precaution. At that time it did not seem he would be missing more games. :?

Those 2 responses are exactly why I started this thread  Guess we will find out tomorrow.

I ask because I seen someone else say that we’re playing w/out him in he Bahamas.

I would think probably the case, or at least not against I Word

Akoh will sit until we feel like he is needed. They want to protect him and he had some pain after game 1. He can play...they prefer to hold him out until its absolutely needed. aka conference season most likely. Terrific opportunity for younger players to get more playing time and new guys to get some playing time with the starters. This team is going to be very deep come conference time.

I'm assuming since both carter and Anderson have burned their RS already that this injury may be more serious than first thought.

Based on what Travis said in the post game interview earlier today, it sounds like there are multiple injury issues and that, in part, led to the decision to play Anderson.

According to pregame interview Akoh won't be playing against Creighton and will be "at least a couple of weeks" before a decision is made on whether he can play.

Ga Southern commentator stated that Akoh would be out 5 weeks.
Ouch, that hurts! Akoh would be a key piece against Creighton, Arizona, and South Dakota State (our three toughest scheduled teams this year)!
