I am not a buddy of Turner's but a couple of times on Friday I questioned why he wasn't in there for the short yardage plays. He is strong and fast. Needs to be given a chance at least! Regarding Akem, no way that end zone pass was not intercepted. Pass was so low and defender had the position (sealed position). Nothing Akem could do. Griz are lucky to have him playing!

It’s hard to tell from the tv, but do our receivers have a difficult time getting open often? It rarely seems that our receivers have any separation from the defenders.

I've heard that in college (NCAA) football that there is always someone, on passing plays, open.

At least, that's what I've heard.

Is anybody else out there just waaaaaaiting for Sammy to freaking explode on some poor defense? God help this league if he and the QB ever get totally on the same page. I’m thinking 8-10 catches, 200 yards and 3 TDs kind of explosion….it just feels like we are right on the cusp….

Nobody said,, they're terrible. They seem to not be as in sync, so far this season. Something is missing. Not being in sync, isn't the same as terrible.

Nobody said,, they're terrible. They seem to not be as in sync, so far this season. Something is missing. Not being in sync, isn't the same as terrible.

A really good RB like MK can make an OL look better than they are.

Or a really young group of backs can make an OL look average, when in reality they are opening seams and holes. The whole offense is not firing on all cylinders due to injuries. Hopefully the young guys are getting more comfortable with their roles. Brown needs some more reps.

Agree. XH needs fewer reps; 29 a game and he will break.

XH, my bad. Yeah, Turner has to be in the doghouse to not be used hardly at all. Maybe he has a couple fumbles in his past. Doubtful 3, though.

They should avoid heavy usage of Bergen as well. For the same reason. Both XH and Bergen have played in 4 games; the next will burn their frosh RS years, which I think will be inevitable as strapped as we are.
