Akem and Toure

Well, Akem's injury has led to relying more on Toure. Toure was doing great before Akem's injury, but has to do more since Akem's injury.

Toure has now emerged as an All American type receiver. Moving forward, when these 2 play together again, what will defenses do? Hard to believe, both will be SR's next season. The GRIZ have had a lot of talented WR's over the years, but this is the most talented WR duo we've ever had.

I fully expect, each of them will be in NFL training camps, when their GRIZ playing days are over, providing they are both healthy.

As for this season, I sure hope, Akem will be back to 100% this season.

If you think about it, Akem rested this past week. Will rest this week. Then the bye week. Presumably the Griz's first playoff opponent will be the weakest so maybe another week of rest. Then light practice. It could be 5 weeks of rest before the Griz need him. Hopefully that is enough...

Stitt recruits...too bad he didn’t have the same eye for linemen

His best 2-3 ended up retiring. Jackson. Scott. Stoner. Hard to control that. If those three had stayed healthy this would potentially be a very different looking O-line...

And I LIKE the O-line just as it is, too.

That's funny.

Sirmon is one of my absolute favorite players to watch when Griz are on offense. He doesn’t “taunt”, per se, but he picks and picks and picks...does the little irritable things that just send players over the edge and gets inside their heads....

True, that.

But he knew how many plays his offense needs to run to win. 90-95. Saturday, Weber 87; Montana 60.

Well if you’re gonna have a bunch of 2 play drives, that tends to push down the play count.

and we all know that if the football coach at um doesn't meet your satisfaction, you will entirely disown the university, not just the football team and players. such wisdom from a 'real' fan and university supporter!

why do you continue to whine about stitt? the comments had been about his recruiting, until you whined your way into it.

3 scoring drives were all exactly 43 seconds.

Crazy. Almost seemed like they could have scored at will.
