Not taking sides, but you have to admit there has been a HUGE drop in performance between the #1 QB and whomever the designated #2 was chosen to be by the COACHING STAFF(define that any way you want). #2 was definitely NOT developed. Specifically KB.I seem to remember that #2, when replaced, FINALLY by #3, and the offense finally clicked, is on the COACHING STAFF. Too little, too late. That #3 is gone now. Hopefully, getting rid of Rosie will pay off in dividends. If not, then the problem is at the top. I hope not, as I am pro-Bobby. This year will be a Litmus Test.

I for one can't wait until this staff can recruit and develop a high school QB without giving them any reps. The sunk cost of wasting reps on guys that don't pan out has to stop.

But did the offense really click with #3?

using that logic they should never recruit a HS QB again. Nor any other position, for that matter. how does ANY HS recruit develop without being given reps?

The O didn't click with no. 3, who is now no. 3 at NAU. Brown was a pretty good number 2 in 2021, with a 3-1 record and some good games. Was put into some tough games in 2022, but obviously didn't shine either.

I don't recall who we were playing, but KB was incredibly incapable. He gets pulled and #3(Daniel Britt )comes in and actually moves the ball. Had to look up his name, but I thought what a waste of time. This guy could have brought life to this dead offense. I also figured #3 would move on.

Where are the HS recruits?
Everything thing I post is dead-on balls accurate.
You don’t know poop Lebowski.
Huot can play.
Is there anyone else around here getting as sick of Private Bubcat as me?
He’s like a No Fear t-shirt with a typo

Don't be soft.

There are QBs on the roster who will never see live game action. They are not good enough to play D1 football.

Directly tied to recruiting. Reps for anyone who will never see the field...have zero chance...are wasted.

QB 1, 2, and in a pinch 3...all need to be capable. Griz don't have them and haven't for a long time. Scout team QB seem to generally get the job done.

Argument can be made KB is a good 3.. who is the 2?

Playa's definition of "top," is very, very ambiguous. Most posts? Most dumb posts? Most ass-kissing posts? Most self pleasuring posts?

Who knows? Could be all...could be none. Time for a leave of absence Playa...until the season starts. Take a break.

You should take your own advice. You’re sucking up to Uptop and criticizing one of the better posters that actually contributes. You spend your time on here bitching moaning and insulting.

And I’ve had my own share of discussions with him.

I'm sucking up to no one. Go cheer for tech.

For sure. We should all thank him for his service.

So soft. What happened to you Kim?

Yes, you SHOULD thank him for his service.

Mocking someone’s military service means you’ve already lost the argument.

When was the last time we had three, actually capable, DI talent-level QBs on our FCS roster in Missoula, Montana? I think it would be pretty difficult to get three of them, tell two they are sitting indefinitely, and have them both stay around. So, what we get at our FCS program are some Montana Class AA standouts who could end up facing a defense with more speed and skill than they’ve ever faced in a game…unless they get some reps against our defense in practice. I’m no coach, but it kind of makes sense to me.

Having been in the military does not give the person a pass to be a jerk in real life or on a message board, in my view. Anyone who acts like Soldier does at times on egriz can be mocked or criticized, in my view. "Kim", you have my support. By the way, my former Army Ranger son, who fought in Iraq twice and got a big hole in him on his first deployment, doesn't think much of the thank you-for-your-service phrase. He also thinks shooters deserve more respect and appreciation than desk clerks and paper pushers. I will see what my West Point nephew who is now in Ranger School, thinks of the phrase.

If you think that's mocking you've lost your senses.

How in the world do other FCS teams get 2 very capable QBs on their rosters?

Why can't the Griz? One of the great mysteries over the past several years IMO.

I think KB is a solid 3.

"Having played the game," also does not give one a pass to be a jerk. Pot/kettle.

I remain proud of your son and nephew's service. I also have a son serving and off to Ranger School next month - then on to Fort Bragg. Makes a dad proud.

Nor has AZ offered me a pass like he tried for you. Nor do I use the name IPlayedTheGame. Nor do I make a habit of bashing players or coaches. There are some differences here.

No one has bashed a coach more than you have bashed the Griz BB coach...yet, you have hoops in your new name.

You bash or bashed Britt frequently.

Your hands ain't clean Playa.

I try not to bash the players...may have a time or 2. I have criticized position groups and certainly coaching staffs. Big deal.
