But, I too hope KB lights it up when he enters a game - which is inevitable IMO.
I think we will find Vidlak to be far tougher and more resilient that his predecessor. So hopefully big leads and a lot of mop-up time for the others.
Why?

This is not a player problem. It is a systemic problem in the program. Questionable recruiting, poor player development, wasted reps...on and on.

I don't agree. What "questionable recruiting, poor player development, wasted reps...on and on"?

Those things require no further explanation; they are self evident.

I disagree with your disagreement.

Look, I used to support the kid more than anyone else and he's constantly made me look like a dumbass but, we have seen everything he has to offer, he's been with the program for a long time and not once did he look like a gamer in an actual game. I'd love nothing more than him to magically figure it out after all these years but, the likelihood of that is zero to none. Give other guys the chance to compete, especially when we don't know how they do in real games... it's better to test an unknown quantity over giving a guy a shot that has repeatedly shown he can't get it done. That is a waste of roster space that a better player could be filling. If you think Britt and Abbotts transfers don't have anything to do with that, you're a fool.

Like it or not, players may be known for one particular play. Two examples, one Griz and one cat:
Adam Eastwood RB, 2018 scat game in WGS. Fumble cost the Griz the game.
Geoff Groshelle, Kicker 1997 scat game in Bozo. After the go-ahead TD and failed 2 pt conversion scats are up by one. He has 20 seconds left in the game, and kicks it out of bounds. Griz win by one on a field goal.

This doesn't ignore their good points/contributions. Just a fact that THATS what they are each known for. Book is still open on KB. He can chisel himself on the Mt. Rushmore of Griz football, or simply become one stone in the debris pile below the monuments.

I knew you wouldn't be able to support what you said. Typical of you. Make (incorrect) statements and then refuse to back them up. These things are not self-evident. Largely not true either.

They are true and self-evident to anyone paying attention. Others prefer to keep their heads in the sand...it is self evident which one you are. Sad, really.

The dirty player from Sac will likely be gone from the conference. Johnson had no injuries before that cheap shot. My hunch is that Johnson was never able to get back his prior level of fitness and strength after the concussion, so was more prone to injury. I don’t recall Johnson as having a history of injuries, but never looked.

well this stuff is nonsense. like the spoiled brats playing marbles. if i don't win i am picking up my marbles and go home.

They are not self-evident to anyone. You just can’t support much of what you say. Do you really not realize how ridiculous it is to say that you won’t support what you say because what you say is too self-evident?

I support everything I say. The only thing more self evident than what I posted is how far you have your head buried in sand.

You have just refused to support what you said, i.e. those 3 things, several times in a row now. You know you can't support them. You are mostly hot air. I spotted that in you long ago, and that's why I started calling you out on it.

You can't spot anything - you are blinded by sand. Seek help.

You are the one spouting off, but being unable to back up what you say. Mr. Hot Air.

Hey Hoops...if your boy Bobby had his way 'the dirty player from Sac State" would be on scholarship at UM right now!

Hauck is a good coach, but he's hardly my boy and he doesn't ask me for advice on the transfer portal. That guy made a dirty play on Johnson and made other similar plays. I don't like dirty players, as I said.

When are you going to tell us about all the playoff disappointments SS has had, after winning the conference. The biggest embarrassment in FCS football. Tell us about SS's long history of winning a game in the playoffs.

The biggest embarrassment in FCS happened to the Griz in Bozeman after the game was featured on ESPN Gameday.

Not an embarrassment at all. The big embarrassment is your running away from your Griz/Cat bet with me for next fall.

I don't back up. Ever.

You certainly don't back up what you assert about Griz football. Every time I call you out for the dumb things you say about Griz football, you backpedal.

As fate would have it I watched that game last night with the sound off so I wouldn't be influenced by the announcers. That was at the very definition of embarrassment. 350+ yards on the ground, half way through the 3rd quarter? It's something you show recruits - the domination on the field, the rabid fans, the atmosphere - College Game Day - crushing the sole of your rival. Hoops, you're either trolling, or you're delusional. Or both.
