Exactly. All this hand wringing is a waste of time. We are the griz damn it!!! Next year is going to rock. Our adjustments in the short passing game are going to remind a lot of people of Air Bear. Our running game is going to kick ass. Our defense will be able to reload and be ready to rock by mid season.

Agreed, sounds like our weak spot will be the D-backs. That's not surprising considering what we lost. I don't think we'll have much problem against the run this year, but it'll be interesting to see how those boys respond when teams have to switch to the pass.
 
JUST losing McSurdy and Tru would be enough of a cause to think the D will be bad. Throw in Breske, and eight other starters and the sky hasn't fallen, it's crashed to earth. BUT, the simple fact is, the Griz' roster is FULL of quality, talented, and mean ass players on defense and 2012's D will be just fine. HOW DO I KNOW? 20 straight years of experience. The Griz don't rebuild. PERIOD!

Yup. And I suspect that the D will go through similar growing pains in the early games this season, and then be a quality unit by the middle of the season. The talent is there--they just need experience.

The issue was never the fall of the Griz! The program will go on, and thanks to Pflu, it is about to hit its stride.

The issue is about firing two men who didn't deserve it, while an ignorant, scared, caving in fuck still has his job.

Fast forward to 2014 and we'll be celebrating another National Championship flag being raised over Wa/Griz. This team is absolutely in perfect position to win it all in 2014....Mick Delaney might have the luck of the Irish on his side for what he's fallen into. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

"Hammer Time" give us a break, we just started to play football. We are trying to catch up to you guys. I mean you guys did invent football, and have the only stadium with lights in the world.
