This is my thought too. I think there's an almost zero chance he will leave after this year.

If he takes another step similar from last year to this year going into next year, and then performs like that next year, the conversation becomes completely different.

Two more levels up of Ah Yat will be a quarterback that will be getting million dollar offers from the top schools in the country. Hell, two more levels up and he's a pro quarterback. I already think he's CFL quality as only a sophomore.

It's funny that you said you think he's already a CFL quality QB because I just read an article that the Winnipeg Bluebombers just added him to their negotiation list. I don't know exactly what that means but it must be good.

He is much improved, but does not have the game to play at UW, Oregon or Utah. Also, the first two won't be in need of a QB and if they were could definitely get a big name out of the portal.
