Did he lose his redshirt status by playing in that game? Wouldn’t that be his fifth counting toward his playtime status (N. Col, PSU, msu, Delaware, SDSU)?

If so…that seems crazy to me. I get the idea of getting him experience, but at the cost of losing a year?

The redshirt rule was adjusted to allow for up to 5 regular season games and all playoff games this past year.
