Again with ESPN3

Is this a change Hav? Back when I had Charter, you could order these games. Why would DirectTV have it but not dish nor Charter? It's an ESPN feed. I'm not looking for GamePlan as that was a season type deal. However, even after Bresnan switched to Charter, ESPN3 was available as a PPV option for the weekend. If you bought it (around $20) you got all the games for that day

College Extra is the new version of GamePlan, but only Dirctv signed the deal. It's still PPV, $7.95 for one day. i guess it isn't exclusive to DirecTV. Here's the complete list: Available to AT&T U-verse and DIRECTV, Bright House Networks, Cox, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS and Select NCTC Members’ Customers at Launch

Wow! Well okay then. I guess it just tightens the inner circle. Really appreciate the help. Thought for sure she'd be able to get it.

It's included with the DirecTV Sports Pack for no extra cost. The PPV of Game Plan was $24.95 for one day even if you had the Sports Pack, so a much better deal now.

Showing on U-Verse's channel lineup channel 615/1615 (HD). Let's hope that's true.

All the FCS playoff games tomorrow are on Directv College Extra. You need the Sports Pack to get them. and i do mean all the playoff FCS games. Directv has them because they own the signal for the games. That means they will sell to whoever, but whoever will not buy it. I do not own Directv stock, but they have at least double the amount of sports that Dish has. The sports bars have the Sports Pack. Last weeks Griz game was announced by morons, but we did have some laughs. Directv ch788-up. I:30pm

We saw a lot of that, actually, on the various games. It may be that the delay in scheduling some of the games on College Extra comes from finding local crews to do the broadcast. Most of them were not up to even the standard of the usual ESPN second-stringers.

Also, for the Griz game, it seemed like, more often than not, the commercial breaks over-rode a play or two of the live game feed. That tells me there was no local "control truck" so the feed was going somewhere else -- God knows where -- for the actual broadcast production. That also meant the coordination between the "remote" control station and the local guys was none too good. It would not surprise me if ESPN used one central production studio for several (all?) games when they were on at the same time. (Saves $$$)

FWIW, I have all the DirecTV channels for tomorrow listed here: http://www.egriz.com/grizboard/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=72672
