I would practice having the QBs throw wet wrenches at the receivers. If you can catch a wet wrench you can catch a wet ball.

Absolutely. If it works for dodgeball, should be good here.

The same applies to the kicking game. Bobby Hauck had his kickers kick wet wrenches in practice.
I am generally opposed to kicking out wet wenches.

I don't know whats wrong with wet wenches, been there done that.

When I bring 'the general' out he prefers playing in wet conditions. And he doesn't wear a raincoat.

Is General a Shih Tzu?

Whoa...this is in my wheelhouse!

Know the enemy, know yourself; your victory will never be endangered. Know the ground, know the weather; your victory will then be total. - Sun Tzu

Can't comment on the rain. Since it rarely rains here I am a smokey condition specialist. But that General Tsao knows how to cook some chicken.

In all seriousness, the wind has picked up today and is supposed to bluster tomorrow. The playing surface sits below street level and the stadium is enclosed on all four sides so wind on the field is not usually a big factor -- except in the punting game. High kicks plus pouring rain plus questionable ball catching history = scary Halloween afternoon. BOO!

You guys better find a way to manufacture a running game.

Chance of rain near 100%, heavy at times, heavier in the afternoon. High Winds gusting to 35 in the afternoon.
60 with 100% chance of rain, winds at 15 and dying as game continues.

Manufacture? We're averaging 130 yds/game. Not stellar, but certainly not terrible in a pass-heavy offense.
