Can't believe anyone from this neck of the woods would root for App State over EWU.
YesAppCan said:Hello great Griz nation! I hope you guys will get behind Appalachian State in the playoffs this year. Enjoyed EVERYONE I met in Boone this year when Griz visited... What a great bunch of fans! I look foward to our return trip next year and am making arrangements to be there (August 31st, I think). Pulled hard for you guys to get the win against Thug-U (Montana State). The cream rises to the top and you folks will be right back up there---probably next year. We still are a very inconsistent team but have managed to win a few close game and get in playoffs. Hoping we get past Illinois State next Saturday. If we do and end up playing Eastern Washington I hope you folks will root for us.

BTW, I pull for Montana in every game they play when not playing us.

It was obviously their strategy to try to get us into those situations. I think they knew they had no chance of hanging with us any other way than by trying to get into our heads. They certainly had the thugs that were more than willing to do the dirty work. I'm just very disappointed that our guys got baited into it. I'm sure that will be a point of emphasis this week.
MSU's players acted, for the most part likea bunch of punks. I think that is a direct reflection of how they were prepared for this game. I was particularly unimpressed with Kramer and all of his garbage during the week.
It looked to me like the actions of a desperate man and their actions on the field bore that out. I am glad that Coach Moore doesn't resort to such shenanigans.

I was lined up to get in the game real early - about the time Montana State's buses rolled in. Le Blanc got off the bus with a ridiculous pair of sunglasses and, when the crowd started an "ASU" chant to the entire team, he just berated this one guy who was minding his own business. Something to the effect of "If you weren't so fat, maybe you'd be playing football like me.":

Did anyone else happen to see the defensive player for MSU, #5, during the game? He was out of line countless times and I also watched him punch an ASU player in the face. By the way, no flag was called on that play. But the students sure did give him a hard time during the game. If I was the coach at MSU, #5 would never suit up for my team again!
Those guys win one game in 22 years and try to fight us the whole game.
They can call us what they want but fact of the matter is the could not stop us, we only stopped ourselves. No turnovers and this game is 45-7. Chew on that for about six months bitter whinning bobcat fans, I hope you never win another game as long as I live.

Boy I didn't know much about this team until App played them 2 weeks ago but I couldn't stand their dirty play and arrogant attitudes. Now they have a current player and a few former players facing drug charges.
Too bad the refs didn't see the MSU player grabbing his crotch to the crowd.
Class.
