I think it's very sad how the EWU fan base has turned its back on Shoota after he led them to three straight BSC titles and wins over the Griz. I guess when you've only been a fan since the 2010 playoffs, you might think it will always be good and take for granted what Shoota gave EWU through the years. I respect anyone who takes a risk for the betterment of himself and his family. I think most Griz fans are the same. Look at the support Griz fans still give Tinkle after a very similar move.

It will be interesting to see EWU fans' reactions if/when Baldwin moves on to something bigger and better. It will be even more interesting to see Baldwin try to reconcile that decision with his reaction to Shoota's decision.

Perhaps EWU will take down the BSC championship banners and remove the National Championship trophy when Beau moves on......Nobody likes a quitter :thumb: :thumb:

That's a given. It's only fair. The real question is whether any remaining assistants will tape up Baldwin's office before he moves and say he "had it coming" or "it's his fault" if Baldwin has the audacity to comment on the childish behavior.

As far as Adams goes, he's not helping himself any wearing Oregon gear around campus. Guess that's not a big deal, he probably just wants to remind everyone who EWU plays the first game of the season.

After EWU turned its back on him, right? If I was in his shoes and EWU treated me the way they are treating him right now, I would be head-to-toe in Duck gear every day in Cheney. I would learn to play the Oregon fight song on trombone and walk around behind Baldwin and/or the AD all day playing it right next to their heads. Then, I would take out a loan and make every restaurant in town a Oregon sports bar.

Why should he have to tiptoe around when his former teammates, coach, AD, and thus, University have basically trashed him?

Remember who acted like a punk first in this. Hint: Not Shoota.

If you graduate and have eligibility remaining you should be able to transfer to anywhere you want to and play football. Period.

The top priority of college football should be about the best interest of the student athlete. I realize the fans and the NCAA think its about them and to a degree it is, but it makes absolutely no sense to me to forbid a kid from moving on to start his graduate degree and play football.
