Lou, let me get this straight...You think the NBA is super boring correct? I happen to love the NBA. So I guess I am failing to understand why you think you know more about the NBA than me. Is it because you have absolutely zero life and follow stuff you dont even like? That sure isn't the case (I hope). What is there not to bias about? 13 NBA titles, 58 NBA playoff appearances, MVP, Best bench in the league, best young center in the league, 3-0 start....I'll stop there.

I am not biased toward Morrison, all I have said about him is that he is not one of the 5 worst players in the NBA, that is a fact. I don't THINK I know more than you because you are biased, I THINK I know more than you because you have some idiotic posts that show you don't know what you are talking about. Saying that someone who averaged 12 points as a rookie is one of the 5 worst players in the NBA shows that you are ignorant. Saying that someone who averaged 12 points as a rookie and has only played three games this year, after knee surgery that kept him out all of last year, won't get another contract, is moronic.

Lou, I have NO intention of getting involved in this thread, per se, but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for pointing out the difference between "bias" and "biased." It is an error made on these pages virtually every week, and almost drives me crazy. It's the same thing with "use" and "used." How supposedly educated people can make these mistakes is beyond me (okay, so I have a degree in journalism and my mother was an English teach; perhaps I am more aware than others). Does anyone else notice that he keeps writing bias instead of biased? Wow.

True story about Len Bias:

In an action brought by his parents against his manager after his death, they alleged that the manager failed to take out an insurance policy against Bias's life before he OD'd. The manager said it was irrelevant because they could not allege damages since no insurance company in 1986 would life insure a coke head.

Bias's parents said there was a triable issue of fact as to whether Len was actually a coke head, and thus, whether they were actually damaged by the manager's failure to take out the policy. But the only evidence they presented to suggest Bias was not a coke head came from themselves and coach saying he was not a coke head. So the judge entered the verdict (summary judgment) against the Bias's because their only evidentiary support was BIASED!........I guess it's probably not all that funny.

Oh, and I am biased when it comes to anyone who plays or has played for the Zags. I will always view things in the light most favorable to the Zags. Many on this board will do the opposite. That's fine. But in doing so, one cannot expect to make factually inaccurate statements and expect to pass them of as mere opinion. It would be like me saying that Swilly's girlfriend is hot, or that Swilly will be a successful editor for the Missoulian, and saying that such statements are justified because they are mere opinions.
