It really is true Swilly. Ask anyone who has been to a Laker game, and they'll tell you the same (unless it's the playoffs). The fans here just aren't like they are up in Montana. There's more to do outside of living through a sports team, so people aren't as into it as they would be if the Lakers were in Pittsburgh. I'm not saying it's cool, but that's the way it is.

It's been two games Swill???? You are a complete and total idiot. He is coming off a season long hiatus from a severe knee injury. I would imagine that it may take a few games to get back in the groove of playing at the highest level of basketball there is?? Maybe I'm from Montana and maybe they were playing descent teams but both games were amazing to watch. No they were 3rd and 4th best out of about 100 in the past 4 years. I just moved back from Florida. Lived there for 3 years. Went to most Orlando home games and a lot of Miami games. Used to travel to San Antonio, Phoenix, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, and Sacramento on a regular basis and would try to catch a game if I had time. And the game I saw last year in Phoenix was against the Lakers shown on ABC so they had a ton of special stuff going on. And the Knicks game was a playoff game vs New Jersey.

Ha I can personally say I've seen a WNBA game in Utah and thought it was the most boring experience of my life. My dad unfortunately liked it. He also loves the LPGA over the PGA. So to say it is better than a Lakers game is just plain idiotic. Even if you hate the NBA you could never honestly say the WNBA is a better experience.

I also think it is rather boring to watch on TV. In person is a little bit different. I am by far a bigger baseball and football fan though. Just when your company gives free tickets to games and being from Montana you try to take advantage of that. That being said I've been to around 100 games and the Lakers were 3 of the top games I have seen. Dear Swill,

I have been trying to enlighten you since February 23, 2006. That is the day I joined eGriz.com. I do think the National Basketball Association is very boring compared to almost every other sport. I would much rather watch college basketball, college football, NFL, and even golf instead of the NBA. On a rare ocassion I do watch the NBA, but only if no other sporting events are on. I am glad that you "love" the NBA, but just because you love something doesn't mean you know a lot about it.
On that note; I don't like to hunt, I don't like politics, I don't like Major League Baseball, HOWEVER, I do know a lot about each of these subjects, maybe even more than some people who "love" these things. I don't think it is because I don't have a life.....I simply think it is because I am a smart person and I pay attention to things even if I don't neccessarily like them.
I also don't feel that I make stupid assumptions.....For the most part all I make is an opinion.

So, to answer your last question, yes, it is something you don't see. Even though I think the NBA is boring to watch, I still keep up on things that happen in the league. There are other ways to get information about it other than watching.

P.S. The reason I think I know more about the NBA than you is because I think you are extremely biased toward the Lakers and show no signs of intelligence in some of your posts.

Went to a Lakers/Jazz game in Utah once. Perhaps the most rude fans in the country come from SLC. I had my Laker hat on and this lady behind me SCREAMED at every good Jazz/bad Laker play. Gary Payton hit a 3 w/ less than :20 to go to put the Lakers up 4. I stood up w/ my hands in the air and she told me to sit down. At this point, I had had enough of her and snapped. I stood up, looker her in the eyes and told her to shut her stinky C*nt up. Neither her, or my wife was impressed but I was pissed. And deaf for a few days.

Lakers/Nuggets from 2 rows behind the Lakers bench was good, too. And we had a 5'11" smokin-hot cocktail waitress serving us crown royal.

I really do think Lakers games are really boring. I have never been to a WNBA game though. You got me. I have been to a few Laker games in the past year, and most people just wanted to be seen at a Laker game rather than watch the game. Although, this could have been because I was sitting in the lower section; up in the nosebleeds is probably where the "Swillies" are.

To opine that Laker games are boring is not analogous in terms of stupidity with saying AMMO is one of the 5 worst in the NBA; then backpedaling to "a bad defender" then backpedaling to "one of the worst who gets significant minutes".
