Absolutely Unofficial Sac State Game Thread

Everyone here thought that ball hit the ball on their last interception. GRIZindabox, you're the only 1 thinking it was a legit interception. It wasn't.

Don’t bother, it’s like arguing with a tree.

I am getting entertained with the duplicate posts because the site is either overloaded or jinxed. At least there is something to laugh at

whatever, but I challenge anyone to post a screen shot of that ball hitting the ground.

Praying the drops are bye week rust

There are a few that have been absolutely catastrophic. Akem’s when he was wide the f open, then Toure popping it up for the pick. Just sickening. It’s wildly uncharacteristic. Bye weeks are great, but they suck at the same time.

Two things I mentioned during the bye period....

Bad timing when we were firing on all cylinders going INTO the bye.
ISU game had receivers running free and open, but fortunately for us Struck had happy feet in the 2nd half. No such luck with Thompson today, and his receivers are again running open and free.

Sac pulled a “Griz” on the Griz. 35-8 run after MT scored first. We lost two TD’s on blatant drops (at least one SURE TD)...either their DB’s are all-world, or our receivers are off tonight.

And man, it sure looked like that INT off Toure hit the ground...but I’m watching on an iPad so what do I know?

Moot point unless our D plays better...more pressure, less WR’s running wide open. I pointed that out in the ISU game, where we were lucky that Struck got happy feet. No such luck tonight, at least so far.

Itchy trigger finger tonight?

Sneed isn’t helping himself. Deming misses the first down because he has to make a circus catch & stumbles, Toure is open, ball at his feet, ball behind Akem. Yeah they’ve dropped some too, but the SacSta kid is making his case for best QB in the conference.

So someone else is watching the same game I am. Good to know

Worst part about that half is that there were all sorts of missed opportunities. Akem dropped a sure touchdown and the defense gave up a touchdown on the next drive. That’s killer. Defense gives up a touchdown to close the half and sac state gets the ball to start the half. It will be 41-15 after sac states first second half drive the way the defense is playing

On the road...and overmatched o-line...much to do to RTD.

D-line is less than impressive thus far...

Sneed is off, but he hasn’t had much time back there either. Not a fair comparison and his receivers are making every catch.

Sneed’s not playing much better either

I know, his multiple drops and poor blocking has been a killer.

Some of the “drops” have been due to off target passes too

Well, there were at least 2 on the money that very well could have been TDs.

Whoopty fuckin doo...two accurate passes that were dropped. Didn’t say there weren’t any drops did I. Just mentioned that Sneed has been off. Go argue with a fucking wall

You had to wait seven games to say that....bet it’s been KILLING you!

So, aren't the officials supposed to review all turnovers and scoring plays. I just don't see, how could Sac's 2nd interception not be challenged/reviewed?
