The most important thing, right now, is to make football about football, again … not about sexual assault, dui, arrogance, fighting, criminal activity, rude, rudeness to media personnel just trying to do their jobs, special status for jocks and all the crap the program has come to mean. And, whether you like it or not, Hauck is the poster boy for all that extraneous crap. Some of it may be unfair; some of it definitely is not, but this petition puts out many of the points that the program needs, beyond anything else, right now, to make a clean break from and to leave behind. No move could be worse for doing that than to bring this guy and all his baggage back again.
