It’s looking like his Eastern Washington team will finish this season with another losing record, making it two straight. According to Nuanez this hasn’t happened in over 30 years. How is this man not on the hot seat? EWU went from a perennial power to below average big sky team. They lost to UM 63-7 last season, and it’s looking like they will lose by a similarly lopsided score in Bozeman today. Not a good couple of years if you’re an eags fan

They are soooooo bad. They never had a good defense, but this is honestly worse than anything else I’ve seen except for the beatdown UM gave them last season. It’s like they’ve just mailed it in. While I HATE EWU, I always thought that was an exciting game. Now it’s not even a team or game worth a damn. There was a time when even a two or three score lead didn’t feel safe against EWU…..those days are long gone.

I told many, EWU would be worse, upon losing the talent he inherited. If EWU wants to return to being a contender, he has to go.

I kinda hope the more reasonable Eag posters – there are a few – stick around some. Be interesting to hear some local insight on just what is going on with the program. From the outside, it looks painful for their fans.

Aaron Best has been on EWU’s roster and staff for something like 25 years. Given the atmosphere on the EWU campus right now, he may be the only coach that wants that job. Good luck to EWU if they choose to let him go.

It’s time for his ass to go. He’s a terrible coach and he had the benefit of coasting off of Baldwins recruits for the first 5 years. Now that it’s all his guys, you can see just how bad it’s gotten. Eastern has a new AD so they just might make a move this off-season with how disastrous the last 2 seasons have been.

I like the cats DLine a lot and one of their corners. Grebe and Valdez are absolutely amazing players and I’d have loved to see them play for the Griz. I also think Ort is legit. Cat linebackers are……..suspect

Sac St offense was dicing up the cats secondary for most of that game. Albeit sacs defense is not very good, but the cats don’t have an impressive secondary.
