There is a song by Bob Dylan (us old guys waiting for our heart attack
remember him) titled Simple Twist of Fate. I'm taking it literally as I believe that that what happened to Ah Yat and the twist of his ankle was a Twist of Fate. It led to BH having to put in Fife and the whole Fife/Hauck to-do. And I believe it will be seen as the turning point in our season (although coming a little late.) Without this we may have well seen KAY play the whole game with PSU. Or at least more QB rotation.
This team under Fife's fire is not going to be the same team that we have seen. There was something that lit their fire in the PSU second half. I expect that to continue into the rivalry game this weekend. This team has the players to be a great offense if Pease/Hauck finally get it through their heads that Fife is the guy to finish the season as OB#1
Anyone that watched the 4th qtr of the Scat-Davis game knows that the neighbors don't have an elite defense. We get our O running (and passing) as it is capable of doing and we can stay with any team.
Imagine.
