Nowhere in the entire universe does there exist an extreme as great as this board's reaction to our loss at Northern Arizona--unless possibly in Dallas after their loss to the Arizona Cardinals, same state, same weekend.
From Hauck's character to the ineptness of this staff to the play of the o-line and the porous secondary, on to the Athletic Director and anybody who might apologize for this program or offer any ray of hope for this team and its future--it's been a straight shot to the fiery dark cauldron of hell where the culprits will roast like turkeys at a Salvation Army Thanksgiving dinner.
I joined the rabid mob.
But is it at all possible that there are enduring truths that must be honored, such as Extremes Always Hide the Truth? That there's a Middle Path in objective reality that could take this team beyond the doom we all see for it in our current emotional states?
The easy answer? NO!!
But life ain't always easy. Or predictable. Or in conformity with our view of it.
I say, extremes hide the truth. I too am off the bandwagon but reserving a seat in case this one fundamental truth of the universe comes to our rescue.
