A Note on Extremes...

Nowhere in the entire universe does there exist an extreme as great as this board's reaction to our loss at Northern Arizona--unless possibly in Dallas after their loss to the Arizona Cardinals, same state, same weekend.

From Hauck's character to the ineptness of this staff to the play of the o-line and the porous secondary, on to the Athletic Director and anybody who might apologize for this program or offer any ray of hope for this team and its future--it's been a straight shot to the fiery dark cauldron of hell where the culprits will roast like turkeys at a Salvation Army Thanksgiving dinner.

I joined the rabid mob.

But is it at all possible that there are enduring truths that must be honored, such as Extremes Always Hide the Truth? That there's a Middle Path in objective reality that could take this team beyond the doom we all see for it in our current emotional states?

The easy answer? NO!!

But life ain't always easy. Or predictable. Or in conformity with our view of it.

I say, extremes hide the truth. I too am off the bandwagon but reserving a seat in case this one fundamental truth of the universe comes to our rescue.

Yes, there is a non-zero chance that this was an aberration. That the small mistakes compounded themselves, and that a butterfly effect was created in which small things stacked up and caused the loss. There is a non-zero chance that NAU is a lot better than 0-3, but it took their new coaches and transfers four games to get things rolling.

Is it probable? No, but there is a possibility. Regardless, my in-laws are coming for the game, and I will be there at hanging out at tailgates before the game and cheering my ass off in the stadium, because now every game is going to be intense. Go Griz.

Welcome to how everyone who was trying to sound the alarm or bring up criticisms of this coaching staff and the team for 2 years now have felt. Was quite normal for someone to bring up an issue only to be attacked, insulted and belittled by those who thought nothing was wrong/Hauck loyalists ex. myself included when bringing up our offensive issues last season. It definitely goes both ways, but I'm sorry if people still think things are okay and we don't have some serious issues then idk what to tell them.

I am going to watch the ISU game. It's possible that I may throw the remote through my 8k TV (big mistake).

But, I'll cheer for my team...just like I cheer for Army West Point and the BIG and SEC teams where my daughters attend.

I'm a fan....but, there is no question a transition is required in Griz Football.

I'm starting to now notice a trend where anyone who says we need to change things up, there some serious issues ex. are now being labeled as bad fans, claims we don't support the team ex. Not surprising.

Yep...Griz fans are rabid as we should be. We had a lot to do with previous successes. Almost every FCS team would LOVE to have the support we provide.

Playoffs for the Griz starts this weekend...

Put some plexi in front of your tv! High end tvs are spendy… just looking out for your future sanity!

After last week I'm hesitant to say this...but I'm fairly sure the Griz will win this week and bring their record to
4-1. I'm sure most will agree that record is a pretty good start on the season. Davis will be a challenge but as I mentioned in another thread they have lost their best running back who was a huge part of their offense. Have to see how they adapt this week. After that, with the exception of Northern Colorado the back half of the schedule could be absolute carnage. I can't even what these threads will look like then.

Oh, that's always been here. Especially amongst the haucksuckers. He can do no wrong, just ask them. You see people like Kem on here spouting off about how "dumb" we'll all look when he turns this ship around and makes the playoffs. That would be a serious fucking miracle after the 4 games we've already witnessed...but hey, he's fully drunk the Jonestown koolaid, I'll give him credit for that. His objectivity is absolutely out the window at this point.

Yeah. This was a really shitty week for me as a Griz and Cowboys fan

It's too much of a challenge to be as cool and balanced as you.

I'm way beyond cool and balanced. I'm ready for heads to roll. Just like you were after the UNC debacle in 2016.

I'll reiterate: ANY coach not named Hauck would have been already shown the door. In year six, with ALL his guys, THIS is not what RTD looks like.

And hey, maybe we NEVER get back to it. But accepting shit like we've witnessed in the first four weeks of the season (and most of LAST season) sure ain't the answer.
