Hi All - First, please don't judge my interest in Griz Football by the number of posts next to my avitar. For years I lived in Missoula and screamed my lungs out at every game. I know I pissed off some folks for trying to lead MT-Griz cheers (inc. ReMax? 
) over the years. There were a couple of years that I attended every game - both home, away and playoffs. Before the days of BigSkyTV, my company hosted Griz game streaming at no charge and we also hosted the BigSkyFans chat room (until last year when it was hacked). To this day, I watch every game here in my home in South Carolina via my SlingBox setup that resides at the company that I work for in MSO. I try to make it back each year for as many games as possible and when there's a game like AppSt in my area, I'm there. Many of you have met me over the years so I think I have some "street cred".
First, I am shocked by the seemingly amateur skillsets and decisions of this current coaching staff. That has been covered extensively elsewhere so I won't rehash that other than to say I absolutely have never witnessed such poor coaching decisions (on any level) week after week as I have seem in 2012. I feel so bad for the players. These kids will get one shot to play D1 college football and they are getting the short end of the stick. From what I see, this Griz Teams has the talent even with all of off-season aversity and the coaching staff is doing it's (non-intentional) best to snatch that away. Off season changes have to be made.
Which brings my to my real reason for the post. Again, you'll have to forgive me if this has been covered over and over but I don't read eGriz every day and being 2500 miles away from Missoula puts me somewhat out of touch. Can somebody please give me a bullet point list of what happened with JJ, AD and Phlu? I understand the original allegations. My current understanding is that no charges have ever been filed and that JJ is still in school. O'Day and Phlu were dismissed by Royce with no reason given but the assumption out there is that Phlu publically said JJ as a good kid (or something to that effect without addressing the specific incident) and let him on the team for spring ball. I don't know what O'Day did or said or whatever but I can only guess that he stood by his coach when confronted by the UM President. Is my understanding accurate? I'll followup with comments after I have a better understand of the stated facts to date. Thanks. Please, this is a sincere post. I'd really like to understand the situation better.
