I believe the back forms a "M". I actually think these helmets are pretty cool. I wish teams wouldn't switch so much though, part of college football is the tradition.

I respect that the Griz have kept with the Griz script for the past two decades when tons of teams have rebranded. Part of building a program is building a recognizable icon.
 
I actually like these helmets! I think they look better than the current M helmet. Soory but the M on the cats helmet is not iconic like the UCLA script or the Mich Wolverine helmet, etc. I think this is a good move and look for the cats. Maybe this can be there step to an iconic helmet at least at our FCS ranks!
 
To clarify, these arent the actual helmets just an artistic fan having some fun. Kind of like pussycatkillerz green UM,uniforms.

That was good! I liked that. You are right, a "cock-in-mouth" shuts up a cat fan every time.
 
I’ve never liked the big M on the side of the cats helmets makes no sense to me or my bud who is a huge cat fan. We fill they could still use the large M if they just put STATE under the M what wrong with that?

In all honesty, the new helmets look good. However, if, IF they want to be the cat of yesteryear they will need to win, like the old times. Then, they wore plain gold for a helmet. But, that was then, and this is now.

Personally, I like the cat mouth-it helps open up so many conversations with unsuspecting cat fans. Most had no clue what was on their logo. Seriously, there are not many ways to make a bobcat look fierce. They don't have a lot of choices.
 
Is this some kind of Rorchach test? Some people look at the helmet and see dicks. I only see pussies. I wonder if that means something?
