A little Sunday optimism

Thank you GGNez. Your breakdown is amazing and spot on. I will be in the NEZ next game win or lose cheering our team on. Go Griz.

You had me until.....Expecting instant dominance when circumstances dictate otherwise is the equivalent of applying for a job as CEO without education or experience.

Beating at team that hasn't won a game against a FCS team since 2016....AT HOME.....does not require "dominance" by any stretch.

She had me at cheer-leading uniform...

I was thinking that this was about the fact they fixed the ice machine @ Schick Shadel. My bad.

Bullshit. This entire thread is the biggest ball of sugar coated bullshit I have seen on this thread, ever.
Even Wahlberg is probably still home puking in a bucket.

That sad, pathetic performance was as dispiriting as any Grizzly game I've ever watched. None the less, I remain optimistic. I know this team can play well. Hopefully they can shake it off.

That was the proverbial "Bad game". Not just for a season but for the century. Never was expecting a championship season this year but I am still expecting a winning one. Go Griz!

A. You’re being redundant about this thread on this thread within this thread.

B. A clear nausea warning was intentionally stated at the beginning of my post. You chose to read it at your own risk.

C. See B. If Brint or anyone else is puking from said sugarcoated bullshit, then mission accomplished. (Sorry BW, truly hope it’s not you).

Hugs and kisses.

Go Griz.

GGNez, good post. Very disappointing loss but I expect big things in the future. It all starts with an O line. That will happen. I have faith in BH. He took the heat and I think he will work to correct the errors that occurred. I doubt it will be an easy week of practice.

Real SSers don’t no stinkin ice. We’ll drink our Old Grandad neat, thank you!

Weird, I thought you typed Old Grandad “nest.” I wasn’t sure what that meant exactly. Sounds like a humorous story about a dysfunctional family.

I was always taught that it only turns to alcohol if you chill it or let it sit after opening.

Reality - look at EWU. Why is that program on a continual trajectory of winning and making deep playoff runs? The trenches and until BH gets players recruited who get it done up front - there will be more of the same. Simple really and Griz fans better get accustomed to mediocre seasons until that changes. Defense and Dline are fine. Hauck will get it turned around, but it is going to take some time. Hopefully there are some drop down linemen who sign next year. Something needs to change quickly.

Eastern wins largely because of drop-downs and non-qualifiers to places like UM. Might sound like sour grapes after last week. But it's true nonetheless.

Total BS. EWU doesn’t take a lot of dropdowns. I’d wager there’s quite a few more on MSU’s roster. There’s only 2-3 on EWU’s. Zero JC kids. The depth you see on the field is built almost entirely of HS recruits.

As for non-qualifiers, also BS. They’re only allowed to recruit one prop-48 per year.

The reality is that EWU benefits in recruiting a very fertile HS football state. There’s a lot of talents leftover after UW and WSU get their share.

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to taco Tuesday, & the buckets-o-cervaza. Tacos @ Schick Shadel got to have cold beer. #amirite?

Very true. Careful, though, or you'll attract one of their three fans to try to tell you it isn't true even though it's very common knowledge.

Three fans is one EWU fan for every grizzz win against the Eags in the last 10 match ups! (I know, I know CDA, 27-17-1...)

Hey, enough about the boring stuff like losing a football game to one of the worst teams in America. Why don't you guys focus on the important stuff like how #LoudandCold the NEZ is and Monte winning the Capital One Mascot challenge??

Winning and losing will work out( in our favor) but we will never be the laughing stock of college football like you because of the field. Low class = no class

If your handle indicates you were around in 1982, how about the years before that? I attended from 77 - 82. We had many "bad games" during that time period. Remember Larry Donovan and the "Team of the 80's"? This game was tough to watch, but they didn't give up and came close to coming back for the win. If 2 plays turned out different, we would be 6 - 0 and delirious about our team. Let's not lose our minds over how historic this loss was.

Was that in this century?
