A couple new coaches

The facts are the facts.No one except egriz homers have said he is an assistant.I like young coaches.I wish the whole staff were younger.But the fact is this guy only has ONE .I will repeat this again.ONE year of coaching experience.

Also, there is not a single DB coaching position on the Griz. We have a Safety coach and a separate Corner Back coach. We have had assistants in the past to work with various position coaches.

I try to give most folks the benefit of the doubt, but you are really digging yourself a deeper hole on this one. You do realize this guy is an assistant coach, right? You do realize we already have a corner coach in McCloud and a safety coach in Nurse? Are you angry or frustrated they brought on an assistant for these guys? And that that assistant played the game himself at a high level and seems to have a lot of great attributes to bring to the table?

I’m sincerely interested in these answers

Isn’t the idea that most people on the board are Griz homers? Except for the haters and Cat fans. This is about one of the dumbest debates I have witnessed on Egriz. That’s saying something.

You do realize this guy is an assistant coach, right? where does it say that? You do realize we already have a corner coach in McCloud and a safety coach in Nurse? yes

there was not a DB coach last season. What makes you think a new one was not created

Thank you for your answers. Where did you see or get the impression he’s the head/lead DB coach?

I listened to an interview with him. His exact words were “MT called and asked if I would come help out with DBs”

That would indicate to me he is coming to help and to assist. Especially given his history as a linebacker. I don’t think a linebacker coach is going to suddenly become a DB head or lead coach.

He is coming to assist with the corners and safeties which I think is awesome. He’s young smart energetic was a good player himself. I think it’s a great fit.

After watching the video, I can see why the Griz brought in this guy. He's a good addition.
