A Choat-load of T[n]A

Rovig is a better passer than TA...its not even close...he could be a good QB, he just needs work.

Tough one for them. They don’t have a QB coach.
They’ve got Denarius McGhee. But, he’s a RB coach.

First, I love that they changed their name. The Montana State Troy Andersens sounds much better and accurate. A bobcat truly is the faggiest of MT mascot possibilities. Did they pick that because skunks or mice were taken? Never quite got that.

Anyway, my neighbor said he and all his cat butt buddies want a QB called Roshambovig to start over the Dillon linebacker vs IdaHoe. They can use the bye to install it. Apparently, he ran some simulations and he and his ilk know better than choach. Some are no longer Choat-led.

I told him I get it, it’s ingrained in little bros—they actually want to lose. But if you want to win, the Dillon LB should never come off the field. Choach might have crazy eyes, but that doesn’t mean he’s crazy

If they want any chance at a successful season TA should not be playing QB...are you freaking blind.

Let him play RB and give him the ball 20+ a game...let a real QB that can make all the throws that TA can and more play for passing downs.

TA isnt going to last the whole season the way hes being used currently. Dumbass post
Sounds like you are assuming, like all the cat folk, that they have a “real QB that can make all the throws.” Maybe they do, I have no idea. But I doubt it, as I don’t think they have ever had one of those, and if they did now, he’d play. I don’t think they have a real qb, so I would go with TA too. The dude has the fire in his belly, and I’d take that over someone who’s only marginally better or has better potential. He willed them to a win over WIU, and Choach later commended that determination.
I might be the biggest critic of Choach, but I agree with him here

Rovig is a better passer than TA...its not even close...he could be a good QB, he just needs work.
Being a better passer does not mean he is the better QB, esp. in their “offense.” I think that’s the point Mr Chode is trying to make. TA probably would not be the starting QB for 11 of the 13 BSC teams, but they are one of the few built to run the ball. I think Choach is doing the right thing now. How he got into this mess is a whole ‘nother convo.

Really?

They knew about Murray long before it was announced. Hauck was in a similar situation because Jensen didn't fit his system. He immediately used resources to recruit some talent to fill that hole. Choate's staff doesn't have an excuse for where they are at.

They did move right away and brought in Jonsen a former 4 star qb recruit who coming out of high school was recruited by just about every major school. Unfortunately he broke his ankle in January by slipping on the ice and it has been slow healing.

Why does this sound like quintessential cat luck to me? Sigh...

You’re talking about the guy playing WR?
We’re taking about the QB position. No wonder cats can’t get this figured out.
It’s a pity, really. Choach’ll get criticized for never being able to recruit a QB but that’s not very fair as the cats have only been able to recruit and retain one QB during my lifetime

I’m giving them credit for The Original Red Rifle. He’s the “one.” They could not “retain” the Russian mail-order QB. The Irish lad is their current RB choach, sooo....
