For the students on here, not sure how many there are, we need to average 900 students per (d-1) game to get the courstide seats back. We have that w/ the first two bc the CSU game is carrying the average. We only got 600 for CSF. So, get the word out there, invite a bunch of people, make sure all your friends are going, etc, etc.

That is a more than a fair number in my opinion. Hell back in the days of the "ZOO", 900 would be a major disappointment. Based on this number it sounds that O'day and Tinkle are certainly siding with students to get it back. I am a little perplexed though, why was this number not made official earlier? Did the university just let this be known today? IF so, I think a flyer should be given on the Portland game. Just not fair to make the decision on gameday. It is hard to get out word the day of.

As for the students, the university is working with you, which says alot in todays sports of being all about the $$$$. The student body has nobody to blame but themselves if they do not get the seats back. O'day has more than made it clear what expectations are, and finally added a number to it. The university has done all it can. Now it is in the hands of the students. I feel it is the least the student body can do in exchange for these athletes busting their ass for this university 365 days a year!!!!!!!

I will be the 1st to admit, I partied hard in my college days. However the group I hung with would make it a point to attend games 1st, then go out and celebrate as we felt necessary. Rather than getting started with partying right after school, we would get started 9 or 10 at night and be up to the wee hours of the morning. Back in the glory days of the zoo, those students made the sacrifices, why can't it be done today? I am sure those students had as much fun, if not more fun than any students at any time at Montana. Comeon students, 900 should not be difficult! Why do I have feeling it will be though? Other than a few die hards, I have a feeling the student body will blow this for the likes of Swilly, athome, and 2legit. Please prove we wrong students!!!! This is one time I would love to be proven wrong. :thumb: GO GRIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would it be possible to let HS SR's be part of the student section? Let college bound SRs experience this with college students. Many of these SRs have not made a choice on school, why not let them be part the student section? Win Win situation, the student section gets help in the 900 number, HS SR gets a great experience and fun, University gets extra consideration from the experience. I know if I were a HS SR, I would want to be part of this and would round up a few friends too. As a parent, I would certainly encourage my child be part of this if it increases the liklihood of he/she staying home to attend college. Is this too far out of the ordinary, or could this work?
