16 is Stallone, I got a few texts confirming that.

What the hell happend to Wyatt?? I was actually expecting big things from him this year.

Not sure, I wasn't expecting big things from him per se but Wyatt caught my attention. I know a few guys (like Shaw) are waiting for some paperwork to clear (grades?) wonder if Wyatt is in the same boat?

Hopefully, The kid was shifty and played with fire.

While these guys need to vent - they also need to show consistent leadership out there if they want to motivate this team to be great. The upper-class men on this team need to lead by example, there's a lot of youth that's looking up to this smaller senior class.

Totally agree with this statement. :thumb: The question is who do you expect to become the guy or guys to step up to the plate. Moore, Gratton, JK, Nguen? With JJ being run thru what seems to be the wringer would you want to step up and possibly be gw'd? I have no idea what community backing the football team has right now but shit. The local news seems to just pile on and main hall is writing a new book on cyob. Good grief what a fiasco.

I really appreciate these posts and want to remind everyone to remember that there are a lot of great kids working hard to put a good team on the field. By the way IMO the O-Line are gonna be beasts and the front 7 on defense will give the QB enough support to make a few mistakes.

Go Griz!!

Go Griz!!

In terms of vocal leaders Gratton and Nguyen haven't stood out to me that way - but of course my observation of that is highly limited. I do see good verbal leadership from Moore, Hardy, Kistler, Tripp, Hermey, and Bienemann.

I honestly think that some of players thought JJ would be back and with the timing of the charge in relation to the first practice reality set in and frustration is high. These are quality individuals you mention and I'm positive we will see a more "settled in focused group" in the up coming days. I for one know that the list you mention could get me fired up. I'm looking forward to the progression of this team and of course The Fall Camp Report :thumb:
Go Griz!!

AWESOME work and many thanks BW  :thumb: Sounds like a very typical first day of fall ball--though obviously under very untypical circumstances. I for one believe (like a number of posters have indicated) that we have a number of quality young men on this roster who have been and will continue to bust their butts to do all they can to make this team better and put a product out there on the field that we can all be proud of.

GO GRIZ!

I sent Tommy Wyatt a message on FB, he was cut a few weeks back. He was asked to gain some weight and add speed and decided to just focus on school for now.

b/w.....as usual, thanks for your time and attention with these reports....anyone who has been a coach, knows that what you are doing is a job...lots going on, which leaves little time to be a spectator and just have fun observing...for all you do for griz nation, thank you....

Thanks, Brint. He seemed like a pretty shifty/speed guy to me. That is why I do what I do, and dont get paid to dissect players attributes.

Just FYI, hes not black, just darn dark! LOL

My bad  , he is definitely dark, darker than Tommy Wyatt for sure! I should have looked closer. Glad to have him up here!

Teams are only allowed a set number of players in fall camp, I believe it's 90. More players are allowed to join the team come classes. Maybe he'll be one of them? He did look like he could contribute...

No, Wyatt was cut, I think he's done as a football player, he's just looking to finish up school this year.
