8/15/15 as scrimmage

When Henderson does that in almost every game we will bash his as well. It just wont happen and you know it.

One more thing. Since Henderson is black, I'm surprised that you aren't automatically dissing him, and waiving your Confederate flag.

I think aside from the passing ability Gustafson displayed, he also is much better than Simis and Chalich with his pocket patience. He did tuck and run a few times for nice gains, but only after assessing his pass options.

Pretty obvious Jones and Gustafson put in some hours this summer. Those two are in sync.

Special teams HAS to improve. The amount of muffed and/or lost punts is scary. Two missed extra points?? That's terrible. Great teams are disciplined in special teams and treat every punt or kickoff as an opportunity to score or create turnovers. Not treat it as a formality before the offense or defense takes the field. It comes with practice and repetition. The coaches have to act like it matters. Because it does.

Will UM avoid another first game, big environment special teams let down?
* 2014 @ Wyoming - Griz leading 6-3, blocked punt sets up WYO 1st and goal.

* 2012 @ App State - Naccarato fumbles kickoff, sets up AppSt 1st and goal, AppSt takes 21-7 lead. 4th quarter, Lider misses extra point after Dan Moore's incredible 90 yard touchdown run. AppSt keeps lead 28-27. AppSt scores on their next series to go up 8. Griz forced to go hurry up with 5 minutes left. Game over.

* 2011 @ Tennessee - Griz D has a dominate opening series and forces a quick 3 and out. Tennessee punts, Nguyen fumbles, Tenn recovers. Tenn starts next series with an 80 yard flea flicker touchdown. Game over.

Nguyen NEVER fumbles........ask PlaYArapE :jack:
And ST play seems to be getting little attention.

What does dissing any player have to do with the Confederate flag?

AJ's article today had the following:

"It was a bright spot for Henderson, whose day was marred by special teams struggles. Twice he misplayed kicks, fumbling the returns."

Henderson also dropped a punt in last week's scrimmage, believe. Yet, Alpha remains silent, other than to dish a Nguyen again. My recollection is that Nguyen had zero, or maybe one, lost fumbles last season. What a hypocrite.
I recall a couple of Nguyen's fumbles that we luckily recovered. But probably more important, let's talk about Nguyen's KO return statistics; he was 109th out of 114 in FCS with an average of 16.6 yards. Just awful, rarely getting back to the 25. Our best bet was a touchback. Brekke at MSU had an average of 27.1.

Which game was it last year that Nguyen put the ball on the ground 5 times? Seems like one or two of them he was called down, but it has to stop.

Wrong they put the ball on the ground way more often than you are willing to admit and you are being dishonest like most lawyers are. Face it the proof is in the video and all your semantic bullsh*t isn't going to change the fact they drop the ball a lot

Why would that matter, Henderson is a good guy? Since you always feel the need to inject race into everything he's not even Asian.

Study up on your history before you go looking stupid......yet again.

You just can't accept that you were wrong about the Nguyens, and that you lied about them frequently. Yes, Peter had a bad couple games his first or second year, but then you just had to do your lying thing and diss constantly. Just like Adams said, you are a hater. The nice thing is that most people on egriz, in the last couple years, now know how ridiculous you are and how often you lie, and most don't take you seriously. At least, you've found another team to root for.

It's an old lawyer trick, when you are getting your ass handed to you, deflect and change the subject.

Last year, Nguyen was 2d in the conference punt return average (1st in total return yards), and honorable mention all-conference kick returner.

and he put the ball on the ground a lot.....made horrible decisions putting his team in bad situations. He is inept at fielding a punt. Stitt knows that

J. Nguyen never put the ball on the ground 5 times in any game last year--nor 5 times total in any season. People like you and Alpha just can't accept that, last year, Nguyen lost no fumbles and is credited with one fumble (not lost) for the entire season. Again, not one lost fumble the entire season.

Again, 2d in the conference in punt return average, and not one lost fumble the entire season, as a running back, punter returner, and kick returner. You just can't accept reality. You have to keep making up stuff and bashing.

Nobody cares about your semantics thats what they dont care about.

Most everyone knows you just make up stuff and lie, and are rarely correct in any UM football posts you make. You have little credibility.

Way to spin stats and avoid the real problem

Holy hell you two! Take a step back from the keyboard and go on a walk! Your bickering is getting really annoying. You guys are like an old married couple.

As for the Nguyen family, both excellent players with a ton of upside. They have a crazy ability to make people miss. Because of Peter Nguyen, I still cringe every time John fields a punt. Also, for their quickness, they don't have the top end speed that is needed to really break punts open (like Henderson, Mariani, or Levander Seagars). They are talented athletes that are better at being RBs rather than returners.

Do you want to respond to his kickoff return performance (above) because you haven't yet accused me of "making stuff up." You don't have to have "played the game" to recognize how pitiful it was.
