Saw aStory on bleacher report about this kid from Indiana, seems to be the type of back the Griz could use. it seems that there is more to the story though as his numbers are off the charts but no school has offered a scholarship. The article seems to think it is because the full back is dying. I don't know and feel there may be more to the story: Either way interesting read.

Hmmm--obvious excellent numbers and deserved recognition. From his letter he sounds like a very level headed young man and good overall student. Fortunately for him he has another HS year left and no doubt will drum up more interest and attention. May well be worth a look.

LOL I meant dying as in the position not used in modern college football much

Sure, a couple of those holes even I could have scored, but I've never watched a highlight film where a guy ran through so many arm tackles, trucked defenders, and just kept on plowing his way to the end zone. The one play where he carries about six guys the last 5 yards into the end zone is a thing of beauty.
 
So, I just watched Nick Ostmo's tape. He's THIS guy. Their size, style and ability to steamroll people are almost identical.

God I hope Ostmo stays healthy...he's a beast.

We needed his OLine. Even if Eastwood hadn't of fumbled he was stuffed for no gain.

Don't get me wrong, I love him. He has good speed, quick feet and has the Truck Stick fully engaged. He catches well and even pancakes on his blocks. What's impressive is his total career yardage. He's no one year wonder. I hate the fact he is a labeled a full back. He's a running back that likes contact.

I just watch it too. I actually like what Nick Ostmo could do over this guy. We win.
