Wow!

Good for the coach, football is a game about scoring points not hurting someone's feelings. I send out a gigantic FU to any parent that would call, email or yell at a coach for doing his job. If you don't like it quit raising your kid to be such a pus*y and play better football and this wouldn't happen.

Not a big deal, football is football. If you cant stop another high school from scoring 13 TD's then you suck, and im sure you know it

What the whiners are forgetting are that unlike Nebraska in the '80s, this team was NOT intentionally running up the score. They were liberally substituting WAY early, and the losing side couldn't even stop the third stringers.

What, you're going to make the fourth stringers take a knee in the middle of the third quarter? That not only attacks the integrity of the game, it invalidates any development these scrubs would get in mop-up duty. The winning side won the game AND avoided injury to the starters by removing them early. To ask people THAT far down the depth chart to essentially not play would not only be insulting to the other team but would invite injury that comes from going half-speed.

Nebraska beat UOP 70-21 and 49-7 in '94 and '95. After the initial hurt of that sunk in, I realized that much of the scoring was that of their backups on our starters. The same idea applies.
