7 of the most unbreakable records in FCS football history

Oh, did I mention I remember it well because new qb Dave Dickenson came in to lead the Griz to the biggest comeback in NCAA history and I was at a wedding in California???!!!

Not a good week to revisit the 1993 season... :)
time for revenge (even though none of these current players were even born yet)

If any of you MFers think we won't win this game leave the huddle and get your ass to the sideline.

Another record not mentioned (ongoing) is D1 football consecutive games without being shutout. Montana and Florida are tied at 437 consecutive games. Montana only came close once since 1989 - the 3 points scored at Oregon a few seasons back.

And no I didn’t jinx it.

Umm, I think maybe you misunderstood my post. I regretted missing that game to go to a wedding, especially since it was such a remarkable game. I was at the wedding because it was family, not because I didn't think the Griz could win the game. Am I missing something?

Are they still married?

Vinatieri is mentioned in that SDSU v Griz box score. He had a good game in WAGriz altho he was slumping in 93:
The greatest kicker in NFL history got benched in favor of a defensive lineman in college. Adam Vinatieri was a junior at South Dakota State in 1993 when he ran into a slump, and coach Mike Daly decided to audition anyone else on the roster who had experience kicking field goals and extra points.

Obviously I was missing something. You were quoting what Dave Dickenson said when he came to the huddle to start the comeback. Memory just kicked in. Duh.

We knew you’d figure it out eventually.
