What happened to the middle of our defense?

Lost our middle linebacker.

I realize that. It seems we have no middle defensive line either though

The DT's are taking the first dive. The Mike has the second dive (brown).

Not really surprised...Poly has a winning record. Achilles heel for delaney and co...

What I don't understand is why MD and staff can't get the team prepared enough to play against anyone with a winning record. Poly is going to win this one and based on the play the the O capable of playing, this should mean that the play-offs are a thing of the past. Tough deal for JJ and the seniors.

At the end of the season, it is time for a new staff. They are the ones that are responsible for preparing this team to play and they are lacking in the extreme. This is just an all aspects butt kicking.

Griz are an average team, they have not beat a good team in 2 years.

In their current configuration they certainly are. And apparently so is EWU. Amazing how pedestrian a team can look when it's short 8-10 starters.

This remind me of the game against sac state a few years a go. This is a horrible showing of our offense and this should hopefully open up the coaching staffs eyes about our horrible offensive play calling

think a below average offensive line is the biggest problem

If they have not done it by now, it is not going to happen...Sorry, that is the truth.

Defense failed against an option running team. Let's pray we play the passing teams better. Offensively, why in the hell did the staff go away from the play calling in the 1st half? I guess they did not want to get our hopes up too high to expect 2 games of great play calling.

I just don't understand this offensive staff.

We haven't faced a very good passing team yet, so.... the next few weeks will be interesting.

On offense? Not surprised really. UC-Davis was awful on defense, one of the worst in the FCS. CP was kind of mediocre on defense, but our O tends to make mediocre defenses look great.

This game went similar to what I was worried about. Us showing some flashes of brilliance on offense, then plenty of the same-ol same-ol while our D tires out and CP rams it right down our throats.

I think it was a simple halftime adjustment by CP. Take away the deep routes. Give them the short, underneath routes.

Why is the administration ok with the Grizzlies getting out game planned and then after half it only gets worse. Hell Delaney comes out and has the balls to say we are right where we want to be. Really, I'd rather have a lead than to be tied or losing! That's what's wrong with the whole program. (IMHO) Mediocre thinking and coaching leads to mediocre results!

What a darn joke. So we can throw out we played WYO and NDSU close games. Sadly folks our Griz are mediocre at best . I think we have talent, just no way to make it gell. Personally I put that all on the coaching.
We may have an amazing recruiting class coming in in 2015. But if the coaches can not pull it together it makes no difference.
We did well last year because the BSC was down.Know that the BSC is up the Griz falter this year. Also the, we are faced with injury is the cause, does not hold water. EVEREY team in the BSC is faced with injury.
