6 Years 3 Championships...70 year 3 Championship

My question is, how is a program that is 42-2 in their last 44 games with back-to-back chippers and a quarterfinal appearance in 2010 the "new king of the block"? NDSU has been the king for a while now. It astonishes me how peoplke from Saturday on, acted like they'd never heard or seen the Bizon before. They have been playing at this level for a while now. This isn't new news.

Yeah as evidenced most of the people making comments about NDSU are clueless and have never watched them play. They are simply the best defense that has ever been in the FCS and it isnt even close.

It would be so awesome to watch them go up against the 96 Marshall team and shut them down. Either corner would hit Moss so fu*king hard he wouldnt want to be in the game anymore.

NDSU has no weak spot on that defense, hell they lost their best player and my be better with him gone. So solid and so deep. I cant wait for the idiots that think they will suck next year due to graduation of seniors, have to eat another sh*t sandwich when they run the table again in 2014

Also in 2007, they were ranked number 1 in the FCS for a good chunk of the year, but could not compete in the playoffs. That team beat two FBS teams that year, Minnesota and Central Michigan, who won the MAC that year.

Arguably the best NDSU team of all time. Produced multiple NFL players on that team, 3 of which are still playing today, Craig Dahl, Joe Mays, and Ramon Humber.

2006 also had a really good team. Finished 10-1 and ranked 5th in the Country. Only loss was 10-9 at Minnesota.

Graduation will be tough on NDSU this year. I'd be surprised if they ran the table next year. They lose 7 starters on offense (including their QB), most of their D line and their shut down corner. Also, losing Bohl will hurt. Probably still the team to beat next year, but they won't be as dominant. This 2013 is arguably the best FCS team ever though. Another reason Bohl probably left. Highly doubt he leaves for Wyo if he had the same offer last year.

Any questions they have are going to be on offense, they have backups ready to plug in on the 3 or 4 defensive players they lose that are almost as good as the starters. Still they'll probably walk through the conference and be a high seed at the end, by then they'll have their offense scoring enough to win games...they're still going to be a tough out next year even losing a lot of seniors. Unbelievable group of kids Bohl assembled there.

Don't disagree with you... I can't argue for any team as being favorites over them, I just don't think that they will be nearly as good next year. Maybe wishful thinking... We'll see...

I watched NDSU play... They can be beat... Their defense isn't the best thing in the world like you guys try to make it sound. I'll be back when EWU beats them and tell you girls I told you once again. Bunch of idiots on here. Especially Alpha, dude knows nothing about football for the most part.

I hear you, I think everybody is ready for them to suck after the last few years, maybe they will be just average next year for a change, not likely though.

Did someone just say FCS corners would shut Randy Moss down? Do people know that Randy Moss was very rarely shut down in the NFL o.O.

No way this (or any) ndsu team is as good as 1996 Marshall. That's the best FCS team of all team, and likely always will be. Of course, they were really playing as an FBS team with 22 more scholarships, but that's the best FCS in name team ever.

Yep...and it ain't close.

Hmmmm....just create a special division for bison, just themselves so the rest of us have a chance to win a nc

i agree with the age requirement to post on here.....  If NDSU wins this year they will talked about as one of the best fcs programs ever. They were dominant in div 2(8 titles) and are now dominant in fcs. The griz and cats haven't come close to achieving what this program has done.

I dont think they're gonna run the table but I don't think they're gonna suck either. NDSU's program will remain competitive in '14.

Well this years NDSU team is making it close... I am not going to argue that NDSU this year is better as I don't think that...but if NDSU blows out the next 2 opponents for the championship than Marshall has some company for that title.
